KIM'S POV

*Timeskip - the end of the duel*

' My turn now, ' I said. Our opponent summoned some machine monster that is much stronger than Yugi's Dark Magician. I pulled the card from my deck. I took a good peek at the card I pulled out. ' Well, which card are you going to play? ' the Pharaoh guy ( which the spirit inside his head calls Mind slave) asked me. ' Trust me, ' I smiled. ' You will be shocked when I tell you. This monster is very special. And much stronger than yours, I see. I summon Dragon Domina in attack mode! ' I shouted as I put the card on the field. The holographic picture of my monster appeared. I will describe it briefly - sapphire blue eyes, orange-golden husks all over its body, beautiful wings pretty large range and a sapphire mark on its forehead. Beautiful flames were surrounding him. ' What do you think? ' I asked. ' No! This can't be! ' the Mind slave shouted as he saw the beast. ' This is one of the rarest cards! ' ' Uh-uh-uh,' I waved my finger. ' My move is not finished yet. I combine this beautiful beast with the spell card Burning Land! Means - you're done!' ' No! ' the Mind slave shouted with his dual voice. ' Yes, Kim!' Tea cheered. Yugi smiled. ' I knew you can make it, Kim, ' Yugi said. ' Thanks, Yugi,' I smiled back. ' Now it's time for the final shot. Attack, Domina! ' Domina spited fire. In combination with the Burning Land his attack has doubled. The Mind slave lost the duel. ' You won this battle, ' the Mind slave said. ' But not the war. We'll meet again. Little Kim.' Then that Mind controller disappeared. The Pharaoh guy collapsed on the ground. The Millenium crown rose up by itself from the ground and flew into my hands. I held it tightly. ' Great job, Kim, ' Yugi smiled. ' You duel better than ever. ' ' That was amazing, Kim!' Tea said. ' I didn't know you own one of the rarest cards.' ' I got it few days ago, ' I said. ' By Mail. Sender unknown. I honestly don't know who is the sender. But it's very amazing. ' ' Overall, you have to be careful, ' Yugi said. ' He will be back. ' ' You're right, ' I said. ' Anyway, how was your date?' ' Date? ' Tea blushed. ' Oh, nevermind,' I said. ' Let's go home.'

A/N: Okay I'll make a timeskip. The action moves to the Battle City.

MARIK'S POV

This can't be! Not only she owns the Millenium item, she owns one of the rarest cards which could be mine just like that. How did she manage to get it? Next time, they will play by my rules. And their Millenium items and their Egyptian god cards will be mine. We will soon meet in person. And no one will dare to stand in my way. And for Kim. I prepared a special tactic for her. Her soft spot is quick friends making. To get closer to them, I will become their friend. I'll go under cover of the good boy from the neighborhood. They will immidiately fall for it. And when the right time comes, I will blow out my cover and they will not have a chance. ' Master Marik, ' I heard Odion. ' We're getting close to the Battle City.' ' Excellent,' I said. ' Tell the Rare Hunters to get ready. ' ' As you wish, master Marik,' Odion bowed down and left my cabin. ' Excellent,' I laughed to myself.

KIM'S POV

Battle City, finaly! I could hardly wait for this tournament. As I said before, the main prize is not my priority. It's important to have your best friends around you. We got our duel disks and made a move. 10 levels. What is that for me? Nothing! I'm already at 9th level. ' Great job, Kim!' Joey said. ' Thanks, Joey,' I smiled. ' You rock, Kim,' Tristan cheered. 'Thanks, guys! ' I smiled again. ' Come on, guys, who's the best!!?' Joey shouted. ' Kim is the best! ' Few people around us cheered. ' Thank you guys! ' I raised my hand up and smiled. ' Who's your next opponent, Kim?' Tea asked me. Yugi's grandpa was also there. You know, just in case something goes wrong. ' I don't know, Tea,' I said. ' Let's look for him. Or her.' ' Well, well, well,' I heard a voice. ' Who is that?' I asked. I looked down. That was Weevil Underwood. The bug kid.
'Isn't that Kim Tanaka?' Weevil continued. ' Yeah, and who are you? ' I said. I tried to act high and mighty. ' Ha ha, very funny,' said Weevil. ' Prepare to go home, Tanaka.' ' Come on, I can't concentrate of laugh,' I said. That was sarcasm. 'You better go home and eat some spinach. You'll immidiatelly start to grow after you eat it.' The crowd laughed and cheered. ' Ooooh, that burns!' Joey laughed. ' Neither I would bury him like this.' ' The duel didn't even begin and they started to give each other honours,' Tristan said. ' Let's duel, kid! ' I shouted.
