KIM'S POV
It passed few days since we defeated Pegasus. It's been very hard, but we did it. Yugi, Joey, Tea, Tristan and my friendship defeated evil. And who am I? My name's Kim. Kim Tanaka. Another duelist from a little city. I don't want to say anything about myself except that I'm a little bit shy and a good friend. I'm writing this because I want to make lots of friends so we can hang out, have a sleepovers and so on, hehe. Anyway, what else should I say...? Oh, yes - I was born in the Domino City. Two years after my birth me and my parents moved to Egypt. More precisely, to Cairo. My dad's firm was buying property around Cairo, so we had to move there. My mom and dad were so obsessed by Egyptian culture so they were going often to the museum, or to the other cities, like Gisa. Wherever they were going, I have always been there too. That egyptian culture had very strong influence on me. I became obsessed too. Especialy with the clothes and the egyptian history. I took lessons at my home. My dad thought it would be easier for me. No long walking to the school in the sunheat. Also, I made my first friend there. And who was he? You will discover it. After my 10th birthday, my parents and I moved back to Domino City. My dad finished the paperology ( the word for the business which contains lots of documents) and we had to move back. That made me sad. I had to leave my one and only friend. We didn't even say goodbye to each other. I was crying as we were flying back to Domino City. There I got in primary school. 4th grade. I didn't fit in at first, because I was raised up in the other country. Everybody laughed at me because I was shy and a bit clumsy. One day we were playing dodgeball outside. Against the neighbor class. I think I was the best player in my class. I was playing fiercly and soon I was the only one on the field. The whole class was counting on us to win. ' Look at me now, folks! ' I said and threw the ball. I gave my class a victorious look. They replied me with a shocked gaze. Moments later I understood why they were looking at me like that. The dodge from the other field caught the ball and threw it at me. I fell on the ground. ' But how?!! Didn't I hit him?'
I was shocked. ' You didn't! You were staring at us! ' the whole class shouted at me.
' You shouldn't have done this!'
' We will lose because of you! '
Yeah, we lost. Nobody wanted to talk to me. I was alone on the playground. ' Why are everybody so mean to me?!' I asked myself and sat on the bench near the playground. I felt tears rolling down my cheeks. It was fine. I could cry in peace, where nobody looks at me. ' Don't cry,' I suddenly heard someone speaking. It was the squad from my class. You already guess that these guys are Yugi, Joey, Tea and Tristan. Three boys and one girl. ' I'm not crying,' I replied.
' But why are tears rolling down your cheeks?' Yugi asked me. I raised up my head. ' Because nobody likes me. Why it must be like that?' ' What are you talking about? WE like you,' Joey said. ' Aww, come on, ' I wiped my tears. ' It's true,' Tea smiled. ' I must admit that you play dodgeball better than everybody in the class. Also you have nice bag and notebooks. I want to be like you. ' I thought that Tea was joking. ' You really think so? ' I asked shyly. They nodded and smiled. ' Well, when it's like that, I want to be in your squad! ' I said. I thought they wouldn't accept me, but opposite of that happened. They accepted me because they seemed as great friends. We walked back to the school together. And here we are again. Today is our sixth friendship anniversary.
' Okay, folks, say cheese!' my mom said. We ( Yugi, Joey, Tea, Tristan and I) made our crazy faces and the awesome friend picture was there. That was after the school. Later, I went with Yugi and Tea to the city. Chilling with my crew as always, hehe. We met Bakura on our way. He is in our class. Also, he was going with us in Dueling Kingdom. He is quite nice guy, polite, shy I could say. He approached us. ' Hi, Yugi, hey girls,' Bakura smiled. ' Hello, Bakura,' Yugi said. ' What are you up to, guys?' Bakura asked us and scratched his head. ' Oh, well, we just meant to go and see what's new in the city,' I said.
' Want to join us?' ' I'd love to, ' Bakura replied. ' But I have to study for tomorrow. Tomorrow we're writing History test, remember? ' I chuckled lightly. ' No worries, you know that I'm a pro in History,' I smiled. Bakura giggled. ' Yeah, but you're not really a pro in Maths,' Yugi said. ' You know you've got D from one test and F from pop quiz.' I looked down and sighed. ' I know, Yugi, but what can I do? I don't like Maths,' I said. ' If you're interested, we can excercise after we write the History test, ' Bakura offered himself and waited for my answer. I moved my hair off my face to the side. ' Sure,' I answered. ' Good, ' Bakura smiled.
' See you tomorrow, guys! ' Bakura waved to us and left. ' Bye, Bakura,' Tea said. I looked at Tea and Yugi.
' Look, guys, I don't know about you, but doesn't Bakura seem weird to you? ' ' You mean because of the Millenium ring? ' Yugi asked me. ' I don't know, but I think it's because of that. ' I said. ' You're acting weird these days, Kim,' Tea said. ' Didn't you fall in love? ' My eyes were wide opened. ' What? ' I said, then I giggled. ' Are you kidding me? I didn't fall in love. Just... ' I sighed. ' After we defeated Pegasus, I've changed my point of view. I feel somehow stronger and wiser. ' Yugi smiled.
' That's great, Kim, ' he said. ' You learned to believe in the heart of the cards and your friends. But what's more important is that you have learned to believe in yourself. '
' I know, Yugi, ' I said. ' Everything can be done with the help of the best friends. But somehow, I miss dueling. The adventure. ' ' There will be more duels, Kim,' Tea said. ' And the adventures. Who knows what is waiting for us.' We were walking down the street. ' Hello Kids,' we suddenly heard someone saying. Yugi, Tea and I turned around and saw a man before who was a crystal ball. He also worn a black cloak.
' Oh, look, a fortune teller, ' Tea said.
' Come and I'll tell you what the future brings to you,' the guy in the cloak said. ' Come on, girls,' Yugi said. ' Let's see what the future brings to us.' ' Yugi, I'm not so sure,' I said.
' This guy doesn't look like someone you can trust.' ' The young lady seems to be very suspicious,' the guy said.
' Well then. Then she will not find out what would happen to her in future.' To be honest, I don't care too much about my future. I only hope it will be good. The fortune tellers can be great fraudsters sometimes. ' I'm wondering what my future brings,' Yugi said. ' Oh good,' the guy said.
' Come closer, young man.' I saw that the guy laid his eyes on Yugi's Millenium puzzle. ' He's looking at Millenium puzzle,' I whispered to Tea. ' This is not good.' ' True,' Tea replied. ' We mustn't let this happen. ' ' Come closer, so I can see your aura,' the guy said. ' No, Yugi!' I shouted.' It's a trick!' Seems that I am a better fortune teller than this jerk. When Yugi turned his head, the guy stole his Millenium puzzle. ' My puzzle! ' Yugi shouted. ' I told you it was a trick! ' I said. ' Let's go and get him!'
