So... another chapter...

The day started of normally but then a shadow, also knows as Gramps shown up.

It usually works like this: the darker the shadow the nicer the person is and gramps is a very dark shadow.

So when he shown up in school and said I was in grave danger I started to panic. Normally we talk  and catch up but this time he gave his warning and left. The warning was 'Run as fast as you can, no time, they're here!'

Lets just say I was scared... more like petrified.

So I got Lu  from where she was sleeping, in my bag, and went out of the library like the hell hounds were on my heels. I went through the secret entrance that let directly to the cemetery at the back of the school, no one will miss me anyway.

All I was thinking was that the shadow said so I didn't notice the shadows that surrounded me, the gang of grayish white shadows. I knew I was in trouble in now.

"What do you want?" I asked exasperated, "I don't have time for you." Because I knew them, they are the equivalent to bullies only ten times worse. The leader, Red, smirked and said with a drawl, "Oh me? I only came here to warn you, pretty girl. They are coming, you need to hide until they're gone. They want you. We'll stall them but you have to disappear"

Now I knew something was seriously wrong, he would have never warned me if it wasn't deadly serious. And who were 'they'?

"What do they want with me? Who are they? And what the fuck is happening, Red?!" I demanded angrily, "If you think I'll hide with my tail between my legs, you're wrong. We'll fight together, whatever this is."

The sun was anonymously dark, creating dark shadows on everything, and Red was looking more and more skittish, "We can take care of ourselves, hide while you can girl. Believe it or not, we like having you around, all of us."

After that departing speech, he was gone and I was left on my own. I looked around nervously, I knew something was about to go down. It wasn't long before I heard footsteps.

Shit. I panicked. I'm not proud of what I did next; I hid behind an angel statue. Out came three boys... men. Dressed all in black they simply excluded confidence, I knew there was more to them that met the eye. Each looked so similar with the same hair colour, chocolate brown, but with different lengths. What was funny was all of them were different heights with the tallest one in the middle and the other two on the sides.

I kept very very quiet, like a mouse hiding from three mean cats.

Meau!

"Shit!" I muttered, glaring at an innocent looking kitty. Now I had no choice but to come out.

"Are you lost?" boy number one asked. Not what I was expecting him to ask but nonetheless.

I smiled shyly, backing away, "Nope, I'm just leaving."

Boy number two, shortest one, glared at me then the tallest one muttering,"We can't let them get away." I heard even though I was ten feet away from them. The tallest look unconcerned, smiled at me and said, "Well, be careful, you never know what could be hiding in the shadows."

I don't know what came over me but I answered him with, "Nobody that I wouldn't know." I turned as their faces turned suspicious. Time to go, enough socializing.

Suddenly the leader was grabbing my arms and out of instinct I turned fast, my boot connected with his sensitive area, as he was kneeling on the floor and groaning, his brothers looked on in disbelieve, and I high tailed it out of there.

As I took another short cut I started to think, they must be new as they wouldn't talk to me if they knew the gossip. I shrugged, not my problem.

Lets go and get some answers about 'them'.
