Something is Seriously Wrong

So another part...

Well this has never happened before. When I got to our hang out place, it was eerily quiet, no one was there. Not a soul. There was always someone, even if only one or two. This is serious. And I'm getting a bad feeling about this.

I decided to wait... and wait... and wait.

I didn't realize how late it has gotten until the sun was covered by the trees, and the shadows completely covered the clearing that I was siting in.

I started to run again, whats with it today that I seem to be running a lot, I hate running. Lu glared at me for interrupting her nap, well tough luck kitty, we need to get home before mum decides to put us in the crazy house again.

-----Time skip to the next day, few minutes before class starts-----

I walked into the school, dodging the other students as I hurried to my class, maths, I actually like maths but the kitty made me late by not wanting to get into my bag, I can't let her stay at home or mum will go ballistic.

I made it with seconds to spare. As soon as I sat down the bell went, the teacher, Miss Smith, a short round woman in her late thirties glared at me through the top of her glasses but smiled when everyone looked away, I like her.

"Today class we have new students... what fun! Come and introduce yourselves boys." One flaw she had, she was always so hyper happy.

I nearly groaned when the three boys from yesterday stood from the middle of the class and strolled to the front. From the back corner I saw what reaction the girls, hell everyone had to them. I rolled my eyes, the stupidity of people, seriously.

Even with the school uniform, a shirt, black trousers, black shoes and green jumper with a dark green tie, they excluded power. I shook my head, don't think like that, focus on whats important, I told myself, like where the shadows are at.

But I couldn't help it when the leader started to talk, his voice deep and melodic, dark, "My name is Cain, he is Charlie and he's Chip," pointing first to his right then left, "We come from Wales and are here because of our fathers job. We moved into the house on the hill" I swear the girls seriously swooned. It was hilarious.

The teacher looked amused, we shared a smile before she cleared her throat and tried to get attention back to the lesson, "Right people, sit down boys, today we're doing simultaneous equations."

As people groaned, things returned to normal, sort of. They were staring at me. No one ever stares at me, not when I look at them with my cat eyes. Not gonna last long, the gossip will reach them soon enough.

-----Time skip to lunch, library-----

"Come on Sir, you know she won't cause any trouble." Doughty, the librarian, caught me bringing my kitty into the library. I mean I've been doing it from when I first got her but normally the little fur-ball can keep quiet but she seemed unsettled, not that I blame her. The trio seem to be following us. Well not literally, it must be a coincidence but still unsettling.

Doughty glared at me but come on you can't stay mad at the cutest furry kitten and anyways he trusts me, sort of, I mean I have been coming here all the time I get so he pretty much knows me the best. He signed and I knew I won. I smiled widely, "Don't worry Sir, she's well behaved."

As I retreated to my spot, I heard him stifle his laughter, muttering, "Crazy girl." but he said it with a warm voice so I wasn't offended, in fact I was smiling.

"Come on Lu, time for lunch." As soon as she heard lunch, her little head poked out of my bag and her hopeful eyes made me ruffle her head, shaking my head slowly at her, I really loved this little ball of cuteness.

That's when the trio appeared and I knew that there wouldn't be much of silence this lunch. They seemed determined and I signed, cuddling Lu closer to me.

Doughty ever watchful eye was focused on us and I felt better that he was there, in case. I don't know in case of what but something was about to go down. Unfortunately.
