12- Baby Winchester (Part Two)

The demon hurt Dean and Y/N... Dean was more hurt then she was. The only reason why he got more injured, was because he was protecting her.

-Sam PoV-

Why does it seem like everyone that I love always ends up either seriously injured... or they end up dead? First Jess dying, now Dean and Y/N are in a coma basically on Death's doorstep.

To add salt to the wound, dad and I are arguing again. When one of our arguments got particularly bad the glass on dad's end table falls onto the ground and shatters, as if something or someone hit it. Dad and I just kinda stared at the broken glass for a few seconds then back to each other completely speechless.

A few days after the incident with the glass, I had to find out if it was Dean that hit the glass... I find a piece of paper in my pocket, I pull it out... the paper has a drawing on it, and a small note that is clearly written by a five year old. I find a pencil and decode the note.

The note simply asks that I stop fighting with dad mainly because it scares Y/N. I look at the drawing, the picture was of five stick figures that is supposed to be us... the Winchester family. I feel tears form but I don't let any fall though, right now it's not really the time. Right now I need to help my older brother and my baby sister.

Dad tells me to go check on either Dean and or Y/N, I don't question him out loud anyways.

-Dean PoV-

Y/N has run off again... I told her to stay with Sam and she did the exact opposite. I can't go searching for her because I was trying to reason with a reaper.

While I was talking with the reaper all the sudden the craziest thing happened, the reaper suddenly gets yellow eyes and starts to act completely different. Was it possible for reapers to get possessed by a demon?

-Sam PoV-

Dean nearly gave me a heart attack when he woke up. Y/N on the other hand basically woke up, like one would from a nap. Dean didn't remember his encounter with the reaper, but for some reason Y/N did. Dad walks in on the three of us talking. He smiles at us, the smile was a little forced but it was still a smile. Y/N looks at Dad slightly scared of him. I share a look with Dean. That's a first... she has never been afraid of dad before.

"Hey what's wrong?" Dean asks. Y/N shakes her head and buries her face into Dean's chest.

"Come on Baby Bug, you can tell us." I coax. Again she shakes her head.

-Later-

The boys had just given their dad a hunter's funeral.

"Did he say anything to you?" Sam asks. Dean shakes his head.

"I wonder if he said anything to bug..." Dean replies. "Or if she saw anything."
