SUPERWHOLOCK ONE-SHOTS (Reader Insert)

21- Oneshot with out a name.

You sit at the library reading almost all the books they had on supernatural/paranormal things. You write dubious notes on each creature.

"Mind if I sit here?" Someone asks. You look up slightly startled. Your (eye color) eyes meets a set of hazel eyes. "Sorry didn't mean to startle you."

"It's okay. Just got lost in my book." You reply. "You can sit here. I'm (Y/N) by the way."

"Nice to meet you, I'm Sam." Sam sets down his books next to you, he then notices all of your books. "Majoring in folk lore?" You shake your head.

"No, I'm actually majoring in (best school subject). I'm just really obsessed with the supernatural/paranormal stuff." You sigh realising that Sam wouldn't possibly want to be your friend because of your weird love for monsters, ghosts, and other things like that. Sam takes you completely by surprise.

"Best way how to protect yourself from the supernatural, is salt." You manage to crack a smile, then the two of you start talking and become fast friends.

-Three years later.-

"Sam, I've been meaning to tell you this for years now... the reason why I'm so obsessed with the supernatural is because I was raised a hunter." You confess. Sam looks at you, and breaks into a grin. You sigh in relief that he isn't mad at you.

"So was I." He replies. You're absolutely dumbstruck. "Does the last name Winchester ring any bells?"

"More ways then one... does (last name) ring any bells for you?" Sam laughs lightly before telling you that it does. The two of you are laughing and joking, then Sam gets the feeling that someone is following you both. You remove your bag and grab out one of your two handguns that you always keep on you. You hand the gun to Sam, before grabbing your other one. Once the guns are out of your bag you close it up and put it back on your shoulders.

"You're full of surprises today aren't you." Sam says with a chuckle. He then carefully sticks the gun in the waistband of his jeans.

"What are you talking about, Winchester?" You ask. "I'm always full of surprises."

"Touche, (Last name)." That's when this dude shows up basically judo flips your best friend. Two seconds later you have a gun pointed at the man.

"This how you greet everyone?" The man asks when he sees the gun. "By pointing a gun at them?"

"No, you're just lucky." Sam retorts, as he gets back onto his feet. "Y/N, you can put the gun away. It's just my brother." You roll your eyes as you put your gun into the waistband of your pants.

"Hey you never know Sam. He could've been a demon or something similar." Sam snorts with laughter.

"Did she just call me a demon?!" Sam's brother asks. You and Sam are too busy laughing to answer that question. After you and Sam stop laughing, Sam's brother introduces himself as Dean.

"I'm (First Name) (Last Name)." You introduce yourself to the oldest Winchester. Dean's eyebrows shoot upwards in surprise.

"You wouldn't happen to be related to (Dad's first name) (Last Name)?"

"No shit Sherlock, he's my dad." Sam chuckles before playfully retorting with an 'f- you Watson,' making you laugh. Dean rolls his eyes.

"Mind if I borrow your boyfriend for a bit?" The eldest Winchester asks.

"We're not together Dean." Sam retorts rolling his eyes again. "Besides you can tell her what you want to tell me too." Dean mutters something under his breath.

"Dad hasn't been home in a few days." Dean says. Sam argues a little bit saying he'd come around. "Let me rephrase that. Dad's on a hunting trip he hasn't been home in a few days."

-later-

"We'll be back by Monday Jess." Sam tells his girlfriend. She nods. Sam hugs his girlfriend one last time. Dean rolls his eyes at his younger brother. You lean against the impala waiting for Sam. When he walks over to you and Dean, he looks at you. "Are you sure you want to go with us?"

"Of course, not going to let you have all the fun."

"Thanks Y/N."

"Anytime Sam." Neither you or Sam knew what you guys were getting into by going back into hunting.
