Leo's POV

"Leo, what the hell are you doing? It's only supposed to be a quick hook-up and then you get the hell out of there! Why'd you even get her number?" Peter (McGuire) asked.
"Guys.... This isn't right. She's so beautiful and innocent. Selena doesn't deserve to be fooled around with." I protested.

All of my old pals were over at my place. Tom (Hardy), Peter, and Jason (Segall). We were all in this immature game that we needed to meet a girl that we assign, and then.... We fuck her and dump her. Now this wasn't my idea. I was sucked into this evil game. In fact, I never assigned a girl to any of them because it's just cruel.

Peter was the one who assigned me with Selena. He had seen her at the cafe every morning so he told me about her. "You're even on first name basis with this chick?!? Bro I've already fucked mine and I don't have anything to do with her. I don't even remember her name!" Jason laughed. I love my best friends, but they're some real jackasses.

"This is something we'd do back in the 90's when we were young and crazy. It's 2016. We're not immature teenagers anymore."
"Who the hell cares? We can still have fun!!" Tom chimed in.

I shook my head. Selena already knew I was up to something by the way she just stormed out on me this morning. "Come on. You don't... Like her do you?" Peter questioned me. They all watched me like hawks, waiting for my response. "Well she's a sweet girl." I simply put it that way.

"What happened to your strict super-model-only diet?"
"Ugh... Have you seen how that's been working out for me?"

I really like Selena so far. There was no way I could break her heart like that.

Selena's POV

I read all the opportunities online about New York. People Magazine really wanted me! The pay was way better than what I was getting at this place. But the problem is that it's all the way across the country. It would be a pain in the butt just moving there.

Suddenly, Ms. Donna came into my cubicle. "Have you made your decision?" She asked. Before I could answer, my phone started ringing. "Uh.... Not exactly." I quickly said. The phone stopped ringing by the time she walked off. So once she was gone, I checked to see who it was. It was Leo.

Honestly, I didn't trust him. But, it'd be rude to just ignore him so I called him back. "Hey." I said.

"Hey. What's up?"
"Nothing really. I'm just at work. I'm sorry about earlier. About how I walked out on you so rudely like that."
"It's fine. No worries."
"I guess I'm just a little nervous about this to be honest."
"A little? You we practically shaking earlier." He laughed.
"Oh God really? That's embarrassing." I giggled.
"No it's not. In fact I think it's adorable."

I blushed. Wow, I guess he really did like me. We continued talking for a while and finally I decided to go to that dinner with him on Friday. I was pretty excited. Especially since my friend, Ally, was coming down on this night from Arcata which was 10 hours away. She could help me pick out a dress or something.

I drove down to the airport to pick her up. "Darling!! Ugh it's been months since I've seen you!!" Ally exclaimed. Ally is... A unique individual. She's British, obsessed with fashion, and extremely guy-crazy. We met in college. "I have huge news!!" I squealed.

"Save it for the restaurant. The plane ride has absolutely wore Ally out." She said. Oh yeah, every once in a while she speaks in the third person point of view. Once we went to go eat, I broke the news to her. She almost passed out. "This is soooo romantic! Words can't explain how happy I am for you. I mean come on! Have you seen the toosh on him?"

"Okay first off, don't call his butt a toosh." I laughed. "Second, we've known each other for like two days. It's not like we're getting married or anything. Besides, it probably won't even work out. I got a job offering in New York for the People Magazine." I explained. She got quiet.

"You what?"
"It's really great! Working there would be so much-"
"But, you have so much here for you. Don't get me wrong, it sounds amazing. It's just... Far."
"I guess you're right. How could I turn down such an opportunity though? You know I could always make time to come and visit at least three times a year."
"Well I guess if it makes you happy then I'm fine with it. You'll be leaving your little lover boy behind though."
"There's nothing between us yet."
"Hold on, you just said the word, 'yet!' Which means you're expecting it to become something."
"Ugh!!! Can we change the subject?"
