Lev was prepared.

Prepared.

He had mentioned another practice match with karasuno, and everyone was seeming to be in agreement with it. After the team bugging him about it. Nekomata finally asked Takeda about the match. Takeda immediately accepted the offer, being the kind of guy that he is. So the practice match was set, for a Friday after school.

Now it was Friday, and Lev was sitting on the gym floor, a small box that contained his engagement ring.

It was a ring pop.

A volleyball rested on Lev's lap, and he was getting bored.

"Oi, Lev!! Get up and practice!" Kuroo shouted at the first year, who shot his glance at him in response. "Don't tell me one of your bullshit dares is to not practice!"

"No, it's not that!! I'm going to propose to Kageyama-kun!!" He yelled.

"With what ring?" Yaku murmured, raising an eyebrow at lev. Lev held up the box. "This one, of course!"

"Yeah, good luck with that. Especially with hinata around." Yaku rolled his eyes, his attention moving back to the warm-up he and Yamamoto were engaging in.

Just then, the karasuno team walked in, led by Daichi Sawamura. "Hello!" He shouted in a sturdy voice, causing the entire nekoma team to turn to him.

Lev smiled.

It was time.

"Excuse me, Captain-San! Where is Kageyama??"

Daichi raised an eyebrow. "Kageyama?" He looked around, before the first year appeared before Lev. "Osu!" He said.

"Is he actually going through With this..." Kenma muttered, completely unamused. "I guess so~" Kuroo chirped, shrugging carelessly.

Lev bent down on one knee, pulling the small box from his pocket.

"Oh my god, I can't watch..."

"Ppppfffffff--"

"What's going on?"

"!!"

Lev opened the box, revealing the geometrical candy, it's patterned and sticky surface being revealed to Kageyama and karasuno. Lev could swear he saw Hinata trying to see what was going on, but tsukishima was holding him back, trying not to laugh.

Kageyama stared at lev with a face that was a cross between "what the hell is happening", "what the hell are you doing", and "save me"

"Kageyama..." Lev began.

"Ever since I laid eyes on you, I thought you were the most beautiful man I had ever seen. You are an amazing setter, and I want to play volleyball with you forever. So please, be my setter for life, and be my wife?"

Kageyama blinked, a blush of embarrassment crossing his features. Everyone was on the verge of tears (bc they were holding back their laughter), and poor Kageyama was very confused. The only one that was still jumping around and screaming was Hinata. "Let me go!! I wanna see!! I can't hear! What's happening??"

"Lev... I'm sorry but... I already have Hinata to toss to..." He murmured the last part.

The gym busted into uncontrollable laughter.

"I RECORDED IT!!" Kuroo yelled, holding up his phone.

"Hey, what's with the racket?" Nekomata strolled in with ukai and takeda, who all seemed very confused.

"D- don't worry about it...!!" Suga laughed, somehow managing to get the words out of his mouth.

"What a day to be alive." Yaku murmured, just as unamused as Kenma.

It was in fact, a great day to be alive.
