Katie's POV

Gosh, I can't believe my 16 year old, almost senior, boyfriend still plays video games. While I scrolled aimlessly through my phone, he sat, controller in hand, stabbing and shooting people, on his PlayStation 4.

I rolled my eyes at him as he knocked over a poor lady to get to some Indian guy that was carrying a gun. America vs India? Though 5 minutes ago he was being very stealthy, following a Japanese man who instead had a baseball bat. America vs India vs Japan?

To my luck I got a message from Donna. (Bold-Katie, Italics-Donna.)

This is a warning k? I'm bout to call, just letting u no incase I interrupt something 😉

Got it, I guess

Tty in a minute

I read it just in time to feel the vibrate of my phone and hear 'dear future husband' by Megan Trainor. I was too intrigued in the music to even answer so instead Greg did, the damn boy turned off the music then.

"Hey Don" he started, there was a quick pause, "yeah sorry about that, she was too busy dancing so the ringtone."

I replayed the song in my head and began singing to it, swaying my head side to side. Greg passed the phone to me and I glared playfully at him, to which he just smiled.

"Good afternoon madam, this is Amy from child help services, how may I assist you?" I asked sweetly, Greg chuckled and continued on with his violent game.

"Ha, ha" Donna laughed sarcastically, "anyway, we have our school dance recital tomorrow morning in between first period and first break, so don't forget your costume and everything, captain."

I groaned, "damn, I forgot, that means I have to go home in 10 minutes to get it all."

"Think before you act next time, I have to go, practice as well!"

"Bye."

"Bye."

I rolled onto my stomach and buried my head in Greg's pillow, he paused his game, and I could tell his eyes were glued on me.

"How about you sleep over" he said, I nodded into the pillow, "we can go get your stuff now if you want?"

I got up and got in a running stance.

"Race you down stairs!"

Pjs, tomorrow's clothes, hair brush, tooth brush, perfume, makeup, dance costumes 1, 2, 3 and 4, school bag, swimmers. I ticked them off in my head as I packed it all in my bright pink and Aqua duffel bag.

I had already told dad what was happening so I left him be, in his bedroom with who knows this time.

Once I got to the Feders house again, we all decided to go swimming including Mr Feder and Mrs Feder.

"Katie, you haven't been here for a week" Mrs Feder exclaimed, we were sitting on the edge of the pool with our feet dangling in, Greg was arguing with Keithie about well...anything, and Mr Feder was helping Becky put on sunscreen.

"I know, I've been studying and stuff" I lied, I was actually distancing myself from Greg because he seemed to be getting closer and closer to Arbuckle.

"Come inside with me and get some things for us all to eat and drink."

I reluctantly followed Mrs Feder through the large glass doors and into the huge, glamorous kitchen. She went to the fridge and got out the cheese, olives, etc.

"Do want to grab some glasses, and one of those long plates for us all?" I nodded getting on my tippy toes and fumbling through the high cupboards for the plates and glasses.

"Do you want me to get the crackers and lemonade as well?" I offered politely, she nodded and smiled at me as I got them.

I was pouring lemonade into the cups when my avoided question was asked to me, "sweetie, are you and Greg having problems?"

I hesitated before starting.

"Well... Not, not, uh, really" she gave me a 'I know you're lying look' and I sighed in defeat, "he's been getting close to Nancy Arbuckle and I was just thinking that maybe I was too clingy and he was losing interest."

I felt tears brim in my eyes and I furiously blinked them away. Mrs Feder put down the knife and pulled me in for a hug, I controlled myself, stopping the warm tears from spilling. We pulled away and she held my shoulders.

"Hey, he's definitely not loosing interest" she assured, "for all he's the clingy one, not you."

I laughed and we walked outside bringing the plate of food and cold glasses with us. We set them on one of the chairs and took what we wanted before sitting down again.

Everyone sat down next to us and we chatted away. Much to my happiness Greg sat next to me, hanging his arm over my shoulder and asking me the most random questions he could think of.

"Katie I have my ballet recital tomorrow" Becky chimed adorably.

"Oh really? So do I!" I exclaimed, with much enthusiasm.

"Are parents allowed to come?" Mrs Feder asked, I nodded.

"I'll come after my class" she said happily, I smiled.

Becky, and the two adults went inside after 15 more minutes, the food was gone but Keithie wasn't and he had 5 of his friends come over.

Leo, a short, brown haired boy, who kept looking at me. Ian, also brown haired and around Keithies height. Daniel, a blonde, average height, non stop talking kid. Blake, tall, blonde, freckle covered boy. And Liam an red headed, tall boy.

The short kid Leo was creepily staring at me as splashed Greg in the face, giggling and grinning. I raised my eye brow at him and mouthed the word 'what' but he just kept staring like a freak.

Greg had his arms around my waist and we were kissing, when the boys started.

"Do they always do this?"

"I think I gonna throw up!"

"She's way too hot for him."

"Any ideas on how to get her in bed with me?"

I ignored the disgusting comments and kept my eyes on my hot guy, now he's the one who's way too hot for me. But he seemed to be getting a little angry.

"Keithie can you get your little brat, friends to stop hitting on my girlfriend!" He exclaimed, I giggled and flicked his nose.
