"what happened here?" i whisper to him and stroke his scar on his left cheek. we were on my bed facing each other. i asked him to lay with me a little bit just so we could talk before he goes to sleep in the guest room.

"just a childhood accident," he says and gives me a reassuring smile.

"why do you cover it up with foundation?" i ask and start tracing the outline of his scar with my finger.

"it's ugly."

"i think it's beautiful. it's you, jungkook. don't hide it please."

he takes my hand away from his little scar and starts playing with my fingers. i can see he's very insecure over his scar just by how he's scrunching his face up a tad.

i sigh and crane my neck to give him a little peck on his scar.

"what was that for?" he gasps, widening his eyes.

i shrug and start blushing. "i don't know. sorry."

"don't be." and with that, he lifts my chin slightly with his finger and kisses me.
