Heaven, Underworld and The Void

Max's P.O.V

I sighed, as Ross' spirit left, and went to the living world. My ribs were still healing, as it ached with pain. I unfurled my wings, and walked around a curling stream, and took a couple sips of water. It has been really lonely here...I don't know anyone here...

Tears fell from my cheeks. It hurts...It hurts when someone you love so much is gone, and you have to "live" on with "life" by yourself. But...as long as the Void doesn't open up, everything should be peaceful.

Ah yes... The Void. I cringed at the word. The Void was once opened long ago. The underworld's wrath had opened it. And earthquake shook, as some people from Heaven, and even the underworld fell in. It is said if you fall in, you are forgotten...forever. 

I glanced at the hill. The Void was under there. It is protected by the Guardian Tree, who gives life to the ones in the living. 

"Please, Guardian Tree. Protect Ross as much as you can. I love him so much...and I want him safe." A sob caught in my throat.

Treading away from the tree, I trekked over to the other minor trees, and picked an apricot from it. I took a bit from it, flavor washing in my mouth. I gulped down the last mouthful, and ambled around to a medium sized waterfall.

It's beautiful...Just like my Ross...

The blue-gray silver water cascaded down, starlight filtering in the current. The mist swirled around me, as I closed my eyes, trying to relax my shoulders. 

Since that I must protect Ross, he won't be here for a long time, so I need to make friends...If I can...But as long as Ross and my friends are safe, then I'll be okay.

Adam's P.O.V (YES, HE'S HERE.)

I dug my fingers through my hair, and felt my heart ache. I felt bad that I wasn't really there...I have been so busy, that I didn't know all this happened...well I heard...Max screaming... 

Ugh! What is my problem! I just fucking hid there like a coward, while I watched Ross cry and scream, and Max DIE! I WATCHED HIM DIE!

When he got hurt by a car...I came to him at the hospital...but...It seemed like Ross and Jin could comfort him better than me.

Max looked so mad when I came to help him with the body... Tim tim, Cory and Ethan were not there at the time..they were out for lunch. They were broken when they heard that their co-worker...no, their friend had passed.

I'm just glad that Jin and Barney are gone...Well kind of...they were my best friends! I got up, and walked nervously over to Ross' room. What will he think of me now? 

I opened the door, to see Ross sitting on his bed, his head hanging low. I ambled to his bed, and sighed, and sat next to him.

"Ross...I...I'm so sorry I hid...I...I was scared...and..." I broke down in tears, as Ross looked alarmed. He had tears streaming down his face too.

"Adam...What could you have done...? They locked the door...you couldn't just beak through. I mean, I tried, but I drew blood. NGH! WHY!? WHY DIDN'T I PROTECT HIM!?" He screamed. He leaned on my chest, as I rubbed his head.

"But...he's still there." I whispered. He seemed to feel a bit better, then nodded.

"Yeah." He murmured.
