In The Angel's Eyes (A MithRoss Sequel)

Max's P.O.V

I need to tell Ross! He needs to give me ideas to protect heaven... I star gazed at the faint skylight, then opened my wings, sucking in the moonlight, as I spun around from it's force. Sudden pain zapped through me, as I shrieked in pain. 

It...felt like fire burning in my skin, tearing it open. Tears were in the corner of my eyes, as I felt like dying...But I need to do this...FOR ROSS!

My vision clouded, as darkness trickled in. Pain shot through me one more time, until the sun peeked into my eyes. I opened my eyes, relaxed.

Ross was lying down in the grass, then his head shot up. He grinned, and ran up to me and hugged me. I hugged back, but was frowning.

"Maxy! I missed you!" Ross squealed. I kissed his forehead.

"I missed you too. B-but...Something terrible is happening..." I droned, sadly. He looked up, and kissed my cheek,

"W-what's wrong, baby?" He whispered. I sighed, sinking my wings back into my back. I explained to him about the Guardian Tree, The Void and Barney and Jin. Even the Elemental Spears and all this bad crap.

"I can't let them take over! I have no one!" I wailed, panic pulsing through me. Ross hugged me, tears in his eyes.

"I don't know what to do...." I murmured. Ross smiled sadly.

"How can I come with you?" He asked. I shook my head,

"You can't."

"Why not?"

"You're not dead."

"So? I would kill my self to help you. I must protect you, Max."

Disbelief struck through me, as I grabbed Ross' hand. NO! He can't kill himself for me! I promised to keep him safe!

"No Ross...don't." I begged. He smiled,

"It's okay. If I die, I'll see you." 

"I don't want you in battle!" I yelled. He didn't flinch,

"Max, I'm going to kill myself...I'm scared too, and I don't want to leave my friends and family...But I have to for you. I love you Max, and I would sacrifice my life for you." He whispered. My eyes watered, and before he could say anything, he woke himself up.

"NO! ROSSSSSSSS!"

Ross' P.O.V

I woke up, shaking with fear. I...must kill myself. FOR MAX. I ambled around the kitchen, as a blade glimmered behind the tissue box. I swallowed and took the knife, my eyes widening. I sighed, and looked at the sky of the window.

"Max, I'm coming."I said. And with that, I plunged the knife in my chest. I screamed in pain. 

"ARGH!" But I didn't regret. I'm coming for you Max. I cut open my skin, and fell to the ground. I'm coming to help you battle.
