Ross' P.O.V
Darkness engulfed my vision, as everything became numb. My eyes were rolled back, and fled dull and cold. A chilly breeze swept through me, as shiver running along my spine. Is...is this what Max felt when he died...?
Sudden agony exploded everywhere, as I tried to scream, but no sound came out. I struggled, but it felt like ants eating my corpse.
Now, with the pain gone, it feels like I'm entering a dream. Pain seized in my back, as something grew out of it. I gasped, my vision unblinding. I inhaled, fresh air entering my lungs. I looked around, my eyes shimmering. This...is where I meet Max!
"Max..." I croaked, still weak from dying. A rush of relief flushed in me. At least...I wasn't in the Nether. I shivered at the though.
I may as well explore, since I'll live here...
"Argh!" I yelped. Pain knotted in my belly, as I tumbled on the ground. I landed on something fluffy, but it hurt my back. I looked behind me, and gasped. I...I had wings! Like Max! He looked so handsome with them! Maybe I'll be like him...
I shook my head. Now was not the time to moon over him. This is serious. I have to help! I live here now. Another zap of aching, was felt.
"Fuck."
This feels horrible...I hope Max didn't suffer like this!
"Um, hello?" A voice asked. Hopeful, I turned around, but it wasn't Max. It was a girl! How is that like Max? This pain is recalling messing me up.
"Uh, Hi." I muttered. "Who are you?" She smiled softly.
"I'm Jen. And you...?"
"Um...Ross..." God this felt so weird, but I couldn't think. Pain was worming everywhere! Suddenly, I saw a golden flower bloom from behind her. Gold...Adam! Oh crap...If he knows I'm dead...He's going to be so broken!
"Are you okay...? Did you just arrive?" She said. I nodded, wheezing.
"Is it normal to have SO MUCH damn pain when you come here?" I almost yelled, ripple of spasms rippling in me.
"It depends. A painful death in the living world, will cause you painful agony here, but it won't last long." She explained.
"If I may ask...was yours painful?" I rasped. She paused, then nodded.
"Yes...I was in a car accident, on my way to my husband, Pat's house...I miss him so much." Emotion cracked in her voice. Sympathy stirred in me,
"I'm sorry. I'm actually looking for my....boyfriend." Did she think gay was weird? She grinned,
"That's nice. What does he look like?" I thought for a moment,
"Well he's a readhead, a beard...and a beautiful face..." I said. She shook her head,
"I'm sorry I don't know. Try near the Guardian Tree...-" Before she could finish, Max's voice was heard, echoing,
"THE TREE WAS BEEN BURNT BY THE NETHERS! PREPARE FOR BATTLE!"
Sorry if it was a boring chapter...I'll update soon :3
