"You're so annoying!"
"Am I?"
"You're so stupid, just leave."
"But I-"
"It's all your fault. It's because of you that he's suffering."
"But he never told me-"
"He's overworked, as am I and many others. It's all your fault. You did this, you selfish girl."
"(Y/N)-Chan?" My head shot up as I looked up at Ken. "Is everything alright?"
He put his book down, setting it on his nightstand before wrapping his arms around me. I laid in between his legs, my head resting against his chest once more as we relaxed on his bed. I hummed in response.
"It's nothing really, I'm just thinking about everything." I shifted my body so I laid on my stomach now. I scooted up a bit before pushing his glasses further up his nose. "You look really good with those." I gave him a smile after lightly kissing his nose. He let out a deep chuckle, changing our position in the bed. I was propped up on his pillows as he rested his head in the crook of my neck, his arms still around my waist.
"Don't over think things, it's not good for you." He released a sigh from his lips before looking back up at me. "Are you nervous or something?" I could see a little smirk tug at his lips.
"You wish. There's nothing to be nervous about, Ken-Kun." I deadpanned. He shrugged his shoulders.
"I wouldn't say that. I mean after all, we are behind closed doors." He hovered above me, shooting me a grin. "I just might try something funny. What would you do, (Y/N)-Chan? What can you do?"
"Kick you in the crotch and poke your eyes." I flicked his forehead, earning a nervous chuckle.
"Well, there's no need for that." He laid on his back again, beside me. "What time did you say you had to go to work today?"
"11:30." He hummed for a moment before laying on his side. "We still have about two hours, do you want to eat something?" I shrugged.
"What did you have in mind?"
"I was thinking that I could make something. I'm no chef but I'm also not too shabby in the kitchen, if I do say so myself." He threw a goofy smile my way. I nodded. "Ah, (Y/N)-" I was about to climb off the bed before I got pulled back. Ken grabbed onto my arm, stopping me from leaving. He got closer, cupping the side of my face as he leaned in. I felt my heart racing in that moment; seeing his eyes slowly close while his cheeks were tinted pink gave my butterflies in my stomach. His lips ghosted over mine before he quickly pulled away. "I'm sorry." He choked out, looking away. "I'm being stupid again. I shouldn't..." A sigh escaped his lips as he darted out the room, leaving me in a daze.
I stood up and fixed his now messy bed before following him. I had told my parents I was going over Ayame's place instead of telling them I was with Ken. It was very unexpected though. He told me he would see me next week, since we were going on Sunday, but he ended up messaging me and inviting me over. Next thing I knew, I was in his apartment.
I headed over to the kitchen, hearing Ken opening the cupboards as he took out pots and pans. I began rolling up my sleeves as I pulled my hair back. Walking over to the sink, I began washing my hands.
"I think I'll help out with the cooking, is there anything you fancy?" I gave him a smile as he wore a dumbfounded look, before thinking hard for a moment.
"You." He pointed at me with a wooden spoon, smiling a bit as he saw my reaction.
"You're an idiot, Sasaki-San." He frowned hearing that.
