Easter Surprises

It was the week before spring break and the week after Easter. The teachers knew the kids would be crazy so we had like parties every day of that week.

"ALL BOYS ASSEMBLE OVER HERE!" Isaiah called out. All the boys went over there and got  into a circle. This was kind of weird. Everyone was standing really close to each other and was kind of freaking me out.

"We need to find a present for a special lady in our life. And to do that we need something from school grounds. So if I can get the teacher to give us all a hall pass, we can all go outside and get them a flower or something." Isaiah winked at me. I wonder if he knows I have a crush on Scarlet. Isaiah carries out with his plan and we go outside to get something. I thought of something as simple as a flower. Yeah it's not much, but it's something.

I was walking along the bleachers when I saw a rose bush under them. I smiled real big and went under the bleachers to get one. I picked one, but it has a bee in it. I didn't drop it, I just ran out of there as fast as I could.

I got back inside and I saw Scarlet standing with her friends. Abby said something which made her blush really deep and shake her head. I start to walk over but changed my mind. I walked over to her desk instead and set the rose on it instead.

"Your words make my heart beat like nothing else can. Your smile makes me smile, when nothing else can.
Meet me at the cemetery near McDonalds grave stone to find out who I am. "

Seemed like a great poem to me. Just kidding, I know it's lame. But it got my point across.  I left it there and walked away. When she went to grab her stuff and noticed it. She read it, blushed, and smiled. She picked up the rose and sniffed it. She smiled at its wonderful fragrance. She was totally going to the cemetery.

~Later that day after school at dark~

I sat up in the tree with my black hood over my face. I didn't want her to see me right away. Even if she did look in the tree, she wouldn't find me. I'm like a ninja. With super stealth and black a hoodie, I was undetectable.

She showed up with the note in her hand. I couldn't stop my heart from pumping when I saw her. She looked around and then sat on the tombstone.

"Hello tombstone" she said patting it. Her face was lit up by the moon and her black hair was flying in the wind. She was so beautiful. I hopped down from the tree. It was super quite. I walked behind her and said "H-hey Scarlet. "

I was blushing now. Why do I do this. I pulled of my hood. She turned around and smiled.

"Are you the one that gave me this?"She asked, holding up the note. I nodded and looked away. I was to embarrassed. I couldn't tell her to her face. She got up and touched my face. I flinched at her warm touch. I never felt something as smooth as her hand. I looked at her in shock.

"To be honest, I'm not surprised." She said looking at me with kindness.

"Wh-What?" I wasnt sure if it was a good thing or a bad thing? Was she going to friend-zone me? I felt my face heat up from embarrassment. "I'm sorry..." I said pulling away from her hand. She looked at me with confusion.

"Why are you sorry?"

"It was stupid of me to write something like that to you and it was sudden and-" Scarelt cut me off by putting her finger on my mouth.

"Im down to start talking to you Vince." She said, pulling me into a hug. I was shocked for a second and then began to hug her back.
