When they Whisper

The get together

Scarlet had slept with me that night. We barely got any sleep, but it still felt safer being together. I woke up to her face next to mine. She was awake, but she didn't have any expression. Her big eyes stared deeply into mine. Dried tears left streaks on her face.

She pulled me into a hug after she got done staring at me. I felt my face heat up as she kisses the top of my head. I should be used to think now, but the feel of her lips anywhere on my body makes me blush.

Scarlet hopes out of bed, and walks to her room. When she left, I decide to change my clothes. I open my closet, starting to grab for my normal clothes. I don't know why, but I changed my mind. I grabbed my purple short sleeved shirt, purple sweat pants, and a purple beanie.

I step out of my room, starting to head to the living room. As i walked closer to the living room, I heard Scarlet in the kitchen, singing Mad Hatter.

I walk in and she's already setting breakfasts on the table. After we ate, we sat down on the couch.

"Vincent..." Scarlet said, looking at me.

"Yeah?"

"Do you want to hang out at the park today with everyone?"

I nodded. She smiled and jumped over the couch. She headed straight to the phone and ran to her room.

After at least five minutes, she ran back out with a flannel on and a messy bun. She set the phone back on charge.

~At the park~

Katey and Mike were already swinging together while Hannah, Abby, Kirsta, Lexi, and Isaiah were already laughing and gesturing towards Mike and Katey.  Looks like we were the ones that were late. Me and Scarlet headed to the group.

"Well look who showed up. I thought you two were like, in bed together or something!" Abby said, giving us a DERP face. I could see Scarlet blush as she crossed her arms and turn

"Oh come back on Abby. Just because we're dating doesn't mean we are sleeping together!" Scarlet exclaimed.

I looked over at Scarlet. That was a lie. We've slept together twice. But it's not like we made babies.

"Aren't you dressed up today? Why are you not wearing you black hoodie and jeans?" Hannah asked, pointing at me. I didn't fell like talking so I just shrugged my shoulders. I looked over at Mike and Katey. They seemed to be talking while swinging at the same time. They also seemed to be blushing.

"Why did we leave the two love birds alone together?" I asked, nodding my head to them.

"We had to give them privacy time. I know Katey and she likes to have privacy time with the one she loves." Isaiah announced. I was always confused why he knew so much about Katey and what to do when she likes some one.

"Why do you know so much about Katey when she likes someone?" Scarlet stole the words right out of my mouth.

"Because. I used to date her." Isaiah stated. Everyone stopped what they were doing and STARED at him, and everyone were giving him the devil eyes.

"You know your not supposed to talk about your relationship with Katey." Hannah growled through her teeth.

"Well I'm sorry I thought they should know" he said as he raised his hands like he was innocent.

Katey's POV
Me and Mike were swinging in perfect sync. I couldn't help but blush when I saw him laugh. It seemed so rare to see him smile.

"Hey Katey, I need to tell you something." Mike said, looking down. He stopped his swing and watched me. I took that as for me to slow down too.

When I finally came to a stop a looked over at Mike. I asked him what he wanted to talk about.

Mike grabbed my hand and held it tightly in his. I Felt my face heat up as he looked deep into my eyes.

"Katey, every time your around me I feel like I can be whoever I want to. When I look in your eyes, I feel like I'm wrapped in the warmth of you, and when you smile, I feel like I could kiss you and you wouldn't care."

"What are you saying Mike?"

"I'm saying I love you, Katey." Mike's face was getting really red and so was mine. I squeezed his hand and replied "I love you too Mike."

I saw his eyes lit up when he heard my reply. He stood up from the swing and gave me a tight hug. I was shocked at first, but then returned the hug

Vincent's POV
As the fight was continued, I looked over at the two swinging love birds. Mike was off the swing and was now hugging Katey. I nudged Scarlet and pointed at them. I saw Scarlet light up when she them toe hugging. I guess that got her in a good mood.

"Hey guys, just calm down and actually pay attention to what's REALLY going on" she said, motioning towards Mike and Katey.

Everyone looked in that direction and said "Awww" I kind of wish that's the way me and Scarlet started dating.
