"Allie, are you going with us tonight? The bar downtown is awesome."
Allie's co-chef asked her if she can go with them tonight, have fun. She just smiled and shook her head.

"I can't guys, I have stuffs to do, and I can't leave Declan alone."
She told them.

  "What? Again?"
They said.

"Yeah, and besides, partying is nit really my thing."
She said and focused on her work.

  "Okay. If you say so."
They said. She just shrugged.

After her work as a pastry chef in a restaurant, she went straight to the daycare center where she always leave Declan, while she's on work. The center is just near from the resto she works for.
That is why everytime she had vacant hours, she always check Declan.
As she reached the center, she parked the car and went out.
Allie walk inside the small building. She went to assigned room of Declan. She saw him immediately through the glass window of the room. He's playing with other kids with the same age as him.

  "Allie! You're here. Fetching Declan?"
Rosalie said from behind, she turned around to face her.

  "Yes."
She smiled. Rosalie is the social worker of Declan and other kids.

  "C'mon."
Rosalie said and she followed her inside.

  "Dec!"
Allie picked up Declan. Her son hugged her.

  "Aww. She misses her mom."
Rosali said to them.

  "We have to go Rosalie."
She told her.

  "Okay, drive safe."
She waved goodbye. She get Declan's things from the locker and left the center.
She hop in the car and tuck Declan on the passenger seat besides her. She put seatbelt on him.

  "We're going home now Dec."
She told him. He's just playing his baby teether. She started the engine and drive.
While driving, she turn on the stereo, it automatically plays Fall Out Boy song, Sugar we're going down swinging. She joined Patrick's voice as he sings. Declan giggled on her.

  "Dadada."
He said.

  "Yes baby, it's daddy's song."
She told him.
She remembered that song was dedicated for her. Patrick composed it to her. She had boyfriend before back in high school, and Patrick is her friend and seatmate. She has no idea that he has huge crush on her, though she finds him really cute and gentleman, unlike her boyfriend that always hurting he. Patrick is always there to help her, curing the wound that she git from her boyfriend. It's like she's battered girlfriend before. Until one day, she had enough, she decided to broke uo with him, but it turned around, he's the one who broke up with her.
After months of moving on, she went out with Patrick. Good thing, she didn't gave herself to that douche bag ex-boyfriend of hers.
So Patrick is her first, and the rest is a history.

As they got home, she parked the car in the garage, she unbuckle Declan, who's already sleeping. She carried him and grab his bag. She picked out the key in her bag and unlock the door. As she entered the house, she drop the bag on the sofa and went to Declan's room to put him on the crib. She turned on the chimes, it plays soft nursery rhyme songs. Then she left the room, but she didn't close the door, so she can hear Declan's crying, if ever.
She went to her room and changed her clothes. After changing, she went straight to the kitchen because she has special order of cupcakes to make. While baking, she turn on the small tv on the kitchen counter.
But she stops when she heard the gossip news.
