"We just need to track the helicopter."
"I think we should find out what Ella knows first."
"Look- I understand that you want to catch Kade, and end this mess, but she needs rest right now."
"What do you know about her? Aren't you just the old villains assistant? Aren't you just the one who sits there, and listens to what Kenny tells you?"
"I regret ever helping him, okay? But right now I'm helping you to put a stop to my brother."
I fluttered my eyes, until they opened completely. I laid there listening to the faint whispers I could hear from the room I was in.
It wasn't a hospital room- but the room of the hotel we were staying in. The area was dark, but my door was cracked revealing a small bit of light.
"How do we know you're not helping this brother out too? For all we know, you could be lying to take us down instead."
"Can you stop? That's not what's happening at all. I'm here to help you, and you guys only. Now- can we get back to our planning?"
"Whatever."
I could easily make out who the conversation was between. After that last 'whatever', I knew one person was Will. The other was Kory, because I know his calm voice.
I stood up slowly, and walked over to the crack in my door. I looked through it to see Will and Kory standing over a map on the kitchen counter.
"Knowing my brother, he probably went somewhere a bit closer to the crime scene."
"Please. Wouldn't you go farther?"
"Normally, yes. But if you think like Kade, he'd go somewhere where the police have already searched."
"I can have Britain do a search for abandoned places close to the crime scene."
"That's exactly what I was thinking. Is there a way we can get that by tomorrow morning?"
"I'll get him started on it as soon as he wakes up from his nap."
"Good. Hey- I have to run some errands. You take care of the sleeping beauty in there."
"Sure."
I watched as Kory left the hotel room with a small smile. 'Sleeping Beauty'.
As much as I didn't want to face Will, I'd have to sooner or later. I don't understand how I was so worried about finding him, and how I risked my life to save him- yet I still can't talk to him.
I know for a fact that I love him with all of my heart, but I just don't see us being together right now. Especially not after what happened.
I leaned over a bit to watch Will as he poured himself a glass of whiskey. Eventually he went to far that I couldn't see him anymore from this small crack. I leaned over just a bit more and-
"Oh my god!" I whisper-yelled as I fell through the door opening, and landed on my hands and knees.
"Ella, are you okay!" Will left his glass, and ran over to help me up.
