I sat outside on the balcony of Kory's mansion.

It was slightly chilly, with a nice breeze that blew my brown locks around in the wind, leaving them in little knots.

I sat with my knees up against my chest in a pink bath robe Kenny must've picked out for me years ago.

Pictures of Will and all the times we spent together we're running around in my mind.

The pain still remained in my heart. How could he have done such a thing, especially with his ex, who's been out to get me from the start?

Slowly and slowly I felt tears begin to swell up in my eyes again, and that's when I heard a small knock behind me.

I turned to see Kory standing there, with a blanket held up.

"If you don't accept my peace offering, you might freeze to death." He joked, wrapping the blanket around me.

I smiled at him, trying to hide my unspilt tears.

"You know, I'm not really good with words, so I don't know what to say that will make you feel better, but if I was good with them, I'd definitely say something to cheer you up." He explained, causing me to laugh a little.

"It's a shame." I began, "Could have really used those words."

He shook his head, "I can't believe this, but, I'll try if it will make you happy again."

"Go ahead." I raised my eyebrows with a playful smile.

"Well, now you're just making it awkward" he looked away.

"Ok, I'll stop-I'll stop." I tried my hardest to stop smiling.

"That's not helping." He said, causing me to burst out laughing. Kory laughed along.

"See, you're laughing!" He pointed out.

"Well obviously." I stated.

"Doesn't it feel great?" He asked.

I took a fresh breath of air, "You know, it does."

"Ella, you're a great person. I don't know why someone would ever do that to you, because you really didn't deserve it. Your funny, beautiful, and a kick ass girl. It's his loss, not yours." He said.

I watched him look at me with sincere eyes. Was he actually being serious? A small smile began to form on my lips.

"Listen, I actually came out here to tell you some information about the mission you're supposed to be on." He raised his eyebrows.

Right, the mission. I totally forgot.

"What info?" I asked.

"Your friends seem to have found a possible location of where he's been hiding. An abandoned cotton factory out in the country."

"Oh, so when are we leaving?" I stood up, getting ready to go back inside, and get ready just in case we were leaving soon.

"In 2 hours- except, you're not going Ella." He fidgeted with his fingers.

"What do you mean I'm not going? I'm the one who's supposed to go!" I whined.

"I know, but we thought it'd be best if you just stayed in the hotel room, and watched through a monitor." He explained.

"W-what makes you think that I need to stay behind? Are you worried that I might get hurt?" I looked at him, "Kory, I've done this plenty of times I'm-"

"No, that's not why at all." He cut me off, "We just think that maybe you're a little too distracted at the moment." He pointed out.

I nodded my head. I was pretty distracted. Maybe they were right to make that decision.

I sighed, "Fine, I'll stay back I guess."

"Hey, don't feel so down about it. At least we found him." He tried to make me look at the 'bright side'.

"True." I said, "Very true."

"Look, we have to head over in a few hours, why don't you try and take a shower maybe..?" I loved how he tried to ask in a nice way.

I started to laugh a little, "Of course I'm taking a shower."

"Thank god. No offense, but you smell." He stated, beginning to laugh as well.

"Don't worry, I'll go do that right now." I started to walk to the bathroom, when Kory called my name.

"Hey Ella?"

"Yes?" I stopped walking, and turned to face him. He looked at me for a few seconds, before shaking his head.

"Nevermind."

"Tell me!" I demanded.

"Just go take your shower dear."

Did he just call me dear!

Omg Ella, why are you freaking out so much? I mean, it's just Kory....

"Alright, if you're sure it's nothing." I shook my head until I got to the bathroom, slipping inside it and maybe squealing just a little.

Kory called me dear!

Here's the question:

Kory and Ella seem to be a lot closer now. Do you think they'll become something more than friends though?
