Turns out, I was right. Kade had indeed seeked refuge in the palace- along with two other villains I despised of.
"I just feel like we're walking into a trap." I explained to Will as we both walked behind Kory and Britain towards the palace.
"I think we can handle ourselves." Will said.
"I know that but- Volgo surprised us once before Will... Imagine what he could do with the assistance of Kade and Kenny."
"Ella." He stopped and grabbed me by the shoulders, "We'll be okay. There's nothing to worry about."
And for a second, I looked into his beautiful eyes for the first time in a while. I knew this was the Will I had fallen in love with, and that the shaky side I saw was a one time thing.
But I'm also a girl- a girl who's very sensitive, and doesn't want to go through anything like that again.
A smiled lightly, "Yea, you're right."
We both continued walking until we reached the palace's back door. We had parked our van a little bit back just in case someone spotted it before we made it in.
"Is everyone ready?" Kory asked, looking at all of us but stopping his eyes once they hit mine.
I nodded, and we all took our places. Britain stood behind the door, Will backed against the wall with his gun loaded, and Kory did the same mirroring him. As usual, I was the distraction dressed up in an all black suit, with a pair of sunglasses on. I knocked on the door, and crossed my arms over my chest.
"Who's there." A small slab opened on the door, and the face of a guard could be seen.
"Mira Srilanka." I said, as shady as possible.
"Vira who?" He asked.
"Mira." I corrected him, "Srilanka. I'm here to speak to Kade."
"Do you have an appointment?" He asked, causing me to scoff in return.
"I don't make appointments darling." I smiled, "Kade knows that I'm coming, I just never told him when."
"Alright, but I'll have to check with him, so stay here-"
"Do not even think about leaving me waiting. I don't have patience, so let me in before I take matters into my own hands." I sharply cut him off.
"I'm sorry ma'am." His voice was a little shaky, "But I have to check."
"Oh for the love of God." I sighed, knowing that this was the only way in. I didn't want to have to do this, but I took out my gun, loaded it, pointed it to his face, and pulled the trigger- landing a bullet directly in between his two eyebrows. Ignoring the rather surprised faces of Kory, Britain, and Will, I reached my arm through the slab, unlocked the door, and opened it. "You guys coming?" I asked, as I took my glasses, and blonde wig off.
