Aphmau's POV

A weapon flies past us. We turn our head to see no one. Something hits Cadenza in the shoulder. A sword. She screams, falling to the ground. Laurance and I rush to her while the others get in a fighting formation. Laurance pulls the sword out of her shoulder and I heal her with magicks. Laurance and I look around to see multiple versions of Sasha. All in her Shadow Knight form. Kenmur grabs Cadenza, then runs off. I have them both take a weapon before they leave. I know it was hard for Laurance to see Cadenza leave. It was for her own safety, even know I healed her, she's still weak and her skin is still patching back together. I turn into my angelic form, Laurance turning into his Shadow Knight form.

"There are 10. 9 of them are fake, and 1's the real Sasha. The others will disappear once stabbed." Laurance informs us.

They all laugh, then we charge. I fly into the air and smash one, it disappearing into dust. Laurance slashes another with his sword, the same thing happening. Katelyn pulls out her firefists, them turning into fiery substances. She starts to throw fireballs from her hands. Travis turns into his warlock form, then continues to slash them. I do the same smashing attack as before, but the clone doesn't turn to dust. The rest are dead, so this is the real Sasha. I slash her arms, Laurance kicking her to the ground. Travis puts his sword to her neck. She throws him far away. I fly over to him. I hear the cackling of a fire, but not a cannon bursting.

"SHADOW KNIGHTS ARE IMMUNE TO FIRE, LITTLE FIREFISTS!" I hear Sasha growl.

I lay my feet on the ground then run to Travis. I'm tackled by someone. I look up and see Lillith Garnet from District 10.

"Let me go, Lillith." I growl, struggling to try to get free from her blade.

"Why should I? If I kill you, I'm closer to winning." She smirks.

She digs her sword farther into my skin. I start struggling to breath, my breaths coming out like chokes. I feel everything starting to go numb. I can't die... No, I can't. Levin, Malachi... I'm sorry.

Travis' POV

I try to get to Aphmau, but my legs broke on impact, so I'm now crawling to get to her. Lillith digs her sword into Aph's neck, her breaths now shaky.

"SOMEONE, HELP!" I choke, realizing the shortness of Aphmau's breaths.

Someone falls from the trees, slashing Lillith. She falls on top of Aphmau, rolling off of her. The man takes Lillith's sword from Aph's neck, throwing it in the vast valleys. Lillith struggles under the man's grip. He holds her up by the collar of her shirt.

"Don't you dare." He growls.

Lillith's eyes widen, fear bursting inside of her. Her long brown hair flows with the snowy air, it only getting snowflakes tangled in with it. I crawl over to Aphmau, who's struggling to breathe. I can tell that the gamemakers are close to blowing the cannon due to Aphmau's death. But she's not dead! I rip the sleeve on my shirt, shivers sending up my spine. I quickly weave the cloth to where stitches can be made. I weave it into Aphmau's skin, closing the wound. I look at the man and see him gone, Lillith gone as well.

Aphmau's hand rests on my chest, my whole body healing. I don't think she meant to do that, but she did. I pick her up and run off. I run far away, in hopes to find Cadenza and Kenmur. I hear Kenmur mumbling something, so I run their way.

"GUYS! IT'S US! TRAVIS AND APHMAU!" I call out.

The two of them stop immediately, waiting for us to reach them. Once we do, it starts to get dark so we set up camp. "Where do you think the others are?" I ask, our fire barely burning since we don't want others to find us. We camp out in a small cave we found. Aphmau's asleep, because she needs her rest after the Lillith accident earlier.

Music starts playing, signaling that they'll be showing the fallen tributes. I wake Aphmau up, because she might want to see this. She crawls over, all of us now at the opening of the cave. We stare at the sky, Nicole's picture bursting onto it. Aphmau tears up, so I hug her. It plays a recap of her death.

~Recap, Nicole's POV

We creep past Logan when he charges at me. The others try to get him off of me, but he swats them off. I try to fight him off, but he's too strong. He swipes my body, scars lacing through it. The pain won't stop. White flurries fill my vision as everything goes black.

~Reality, Travis' POV

"May she rest in peace..." I hear Aph mumble.

I look over to her, giving her an assuring smile. We then look up at the sky, interrupted by the familiar music.

~Recap, Logan's POV

I feast on a deer, trying to forget about the agony of the games when I hear something behind me. I turn around, blood in my teeth. I snarl at the people, then one catches my eye Nicole VanRosenberg, District Nine. I charge at her, tackling her to the ground. Her eyes have fear lingering in them.

Her little 'friends' try to save her, but I swat them away with my tail. I run my claws down her body, then she takes her last breath. I then charge for Katelyn FireFist from District Three. While I'm in the air, I get shot by Laurance Meteli in District Two. I slide out of my werewolf form, shivers sending down my spine. My breaths are shaky, then become no more.

~Reality, Travis' POV

Aphmau trudges back into the cave, Cadenza, Kenmur and I following. Kenmur takes the first watch, the rest of us falling asleep instantly.

~The Next Morning, Aphmau's POV

I wake up, snuggled up to Travis. Ew. I try to get away, but he pulls me closer. I wiggle out of his grip, then get up. I see a sleeping Kenmur at the entrance of the cave.

Travis wakes up, "Wake the others up. I'm going to start looking for everyone else." I command.

Travis nods, waking Cadenza up. I wake Kenmur up. We then grab our things and start searching for the others. Hopefully, we'll find them before nightfall, but who knows what'll happen in the arena?
