The Man's POV (His Name Is Unknown)

These kids thought that they were too good for the games and decided to team up. That's not how I won!

"Where's Sasha White?" Aphmau Obsidian asks.

Laurance Meteli still has a good grip on the supplies he recovered at the cornicopia. His grip tightens at my glance. I chuckle evilly, then wave my hand in front of them. The mist takes Aaron over as well, even know he's still behind me.

Aphmau's POV

The man waves his hand in front of us, mist spilling from the vents. My vision is taken up by a watery substance.

When it clears, we're back in the arena. I look at my whole alliance. Everyone's attention directs towards the sky, so I do the same. A chunk is falling, soon to squish us. Aaron appears by me. My feet glue to the ground, fear bursting thru my veins. My eyes widen, my fate chosen. I look at my team one last time, then the chunk hits the ground. But.. I'm not dead? What? Everybody looks at their feet questionably.

"You're ghosts, kids. Nothing can hurt you here." A voice rings in my head.

It's that man from earlier. Aaron seems surprisingly calm, "This is what happened to you, wasn't it?" I ask.

Aaron look at me, "Yes, but I was in District Eight." He replies.

"That's why your eyes were white..." I mutter.

When he had seen us before we were in the training room, his hood and bandanna had fallen off. We had gotten to see his face for the first time. A gust of wind starts to blow through his hair.

"What'd you say?" He asks.

I shake my head, snapping out of my thoughts, "Nothing... What'd you see?" I cover up.

"The big projectors were black, a small screeching noise coming from them. Peacekeepers were escorting people to their houses. I tried to get people's attention, but they walked straight through me." Aaron explains.

I nod slowly,  "Get moving, kids! You only have 5 minutes left in there." The same voice from earlier booms in my head.

I glance at everybody, they all heard it too. We then rush away, "SOMEONE... SOMEONE HELP!" I hear Sasha scream.

We run that way to see her leg under a chunk. She growls, then turns into her Shadow Knight form.

"I'm the only one here..." Sasha mumbles, noticing the huge holes in the dome's wall.

She grabs the chunk of ceiling and yanks it away from her leg. She throws it in our direction, it going straight thru us. She then gets up and starts limping. I wish I could heal her, but she did also try to kill us.

The watery feeling takes over our vision again, then I reappear at the training room. We see a limp Sasha rush into the room. As she catches a glimpse of me, she pins me to the wall with her sword at my neck. I turn into my angelic form and blast her back. Laurance tries to help but I don't let him. Garroth does the same thing, but this is something I have to handle on my own.

The Man doesn't do anything, he just sits back and enjoys the show, "Nobody help me." I growl loud enough for them to hear.

Aaron still sits at the back of the room. The Man causes everyone to become a misty figure. Sasha charges for me, our swords clashing.

"You killed Gene." She growls.

"I didn't. Maybe you did though." I smirk and release my blade from hers.

She stumbles forward as I stepped out of the way. Anger grows in her actions. Adrenaline bursts through my veins as I charge for her. I have the higher advantage, due to my wings. I smash her down by falling from the sky. Sasha grows angrier. She then loses control. She charges at me, swinging her blade every which way. A glowing fire burns in her eyes. She cuts my arm, but it heals immediately. I glance over at my alliance to see Travis turning from the misty form back to human.

At first, he's his regular human self, but as he switches more and more, his skin turns to a darker gray as his eyes turn from green to purple. He's turning into his warlock form. Sasha takes my distracted moment as an opportunity. She charges at me, but someone clashes in front of her first. I look at the figure and see Travis standing there with Sasha, blade to blade.

Power radiates both of their swords. So much, it blasts me back, my back hitting the wall. I wince as a sword slides down my back, it cutting me slightly. I grip my sword tighter, then get up and run to Sasha. I bounce into the air and gravity takes its course, causing me to fall. I smash her onto the ground, leaving Travis dumbfounded. I put my sword to her neck.

"We're not even in the second round, and you're already dead." I growl.

Sasha starts to giggle, but her giggle turns into a demented laugh. She tackles me, but Travis kicks her down. Travis puts his blade to her neck.

"THAT'S ENOUGH!" The Man yells.

He pulls Travis and I away from Sasha, then takes everyone out of their misty form. Sasha somberly turns out of her Shadow Knight form as Travis and I turn out of our magical forms. I sigh with annoyance as The Man splits us into groups based on our specialty. I pair with Laurance, Garroth, Travis and Katelyn.

Ugh, why does this have to happen? Why wouldn't we just have a regular Hunger Games? Or a Hunger Games at all? I have to stop thinking and have to start training...
