     Kannan's P.O.V.
I am glad to be able to get Ezra out and about. He needs to get back to his roots and I hope that he won't be all that uneasy with his powers now. They made him unstable, emotionally, which made me kind of nervous, though I did not show it so that Ezra won't feel any discomfort with the rest of us.

Ahsoka and I were talking to each other over a hologram, I told her everything that has happened over the past few weeks: our previously successful missions, our encounter with the Inquisitors, how the crew has been, but most importantly, what was going on with Ezra. She told me that she has heard of the capabilities that Ezra has before. Once every hundred years, a person is chosen to posses those powers, but very few are able to control them. Apparently, Ezra is one of the first to be able to have some willpower over his abilities.

. . .

"Ezra! Let's go!" I said over the intercom.

"Okay, okay Kannan! It's only been, what, two minutes since your last call?" Ezra snapped.

"Maybe, but we're already late." I reminded Ezra as he walked down the ramp.

"So...where is Ashoka?" He questioned "I thought you said that she'd be here."

"I said she might be here. Might." I made sure to emphasize the word might.

"Well, I might just be here right behind you" Ahsoka toyed. My eyes went wide in shock as I heard her voice. I turned my body in one swift movement then walked up to her and gave her a hug.

"Hey Ahsoka!" Ezra greeted with a great pleasure.

"Glad you could make it Ahsoka." I said joyfully unleashing her from my embrace "How was the trip here?"

"Glad I can be here." She paused looking at both me and my raven haired padawan. "My trip was fine, but..."

"But what?" I inquired. I was getting a nauseating feeling that something wasn't quite right.

"But...I believe that I have picked up, on my scanners, empirical activity somewhere close to this area. I feel as if they were too close for a coincidence. I believe that something is set to go wrong." She said with a slight worrisome expression written across her face.

"Does that mean that the temple is a no go? 'Cause I didn't really want to go in the first place soooo..." Ezra asked in a more or less happy tone while spinning around and walking up the ramp.

"Ezra, get back here." I grumbled "We could always practice your powers if you'd prefer to do that. And don't worry, Ahsoka already knows and she has heard of this before."

"I don't want to practice my powers and why would you mention that to he-" he cut himself off "Wait. You mean to tell me that you have heard of my freaky abilities before?"

"Yes I have Ezra. We shall discuss it on the way to the temple, and we are going because it is still an opportunity to learn more than we already know. It is a risk we must take."

"Fine." My padawan whined.

"Hey! You guys gonna sit on the ramp all day or are you gonna do Jedi things?" Zeb grumbled in a joking manner.

"Awe! You're just trying to hurry us up so we can get back faster 'cause you're gonna miss us. Mainly me." The kid teased the Lasat.

"Nah. I'd like to have my room back to myself. But if you come back, don't come back dead." Our furry Lasat shot back. I know how much he has grow to like the kid, and I know that it would pain him to loose him. He just tries to be tuff that way. Zeb only means the best, even if he contradicts his true emotions in a joke.

"Ha. Ha. I'll be sure to kick you out of our room so that I can enjoy the Lasatless area." Ezra joked sticking his tung out at him. Just then, Zeb walked right up to the raven haired boy and hugged him.

"Please don't come back dead." He whispered with care.

"Don't worry, I won't." Ezra whispered back reciprocating the emotion.

Zeb let go of Ezra and gave him a playfully rough noogie. "Uh! Not the hair! Not the hair!" Ezra said squirming in Zeb's arms. He was put down aggressively and looked up at his hair which was now above his eyes floating a bit. "Really?! Now it's all staticky.." Ezra frowned as he started to walk in the opposite direction of Zeb trying to flatten out his hair.

Zeb started to laugh and said "All right! See ya soon guys. And kid, I'll be sure to annoy you even more in my room."

     "We'll see." Ezra shot back.

We re now on our way for the temple.
