"You're a witch too!?" He said with is beautiful eyes bigger than ever.

"Well unless I can make you think I can levitate a jacket than yes" I said my smart comment making me giggle.

"Is that why you had to move?" He asked.

"It's a long story" I said putting my head down.
"I had told my best friend and we got into a big fight she told her friends that I was a bad witch and I was planning to hurt them which I didn't! Anyway my family and I were getting threats and we had to leave."

"I'm so sorry" mumbled Toby.  "No one should ever have to go through that people think we're terrible people because that's what they say in the story's but we're just normal people"

"Yea but that's just how it is children dress us as you for Halloween it gives us a bad reputation and..." I trailed off.

"And what?" He asked sipping on his coffee.

"I'm half witch half vampire my mom is a witch and my dad well he's a vampire"

"That doesn't change anything" his perfect smile shinning in my direction.

After talking a bit more we decided to head home as we pulled up to the drive way I began to speak.

"Thanks for talking to me Toby I had a great time" I said taking a deep breath.

"Anytime" he said resting his hand on my thigh. I could get lost on his smile and eyes I began to lean forward as did he are lips inches apart...

"Kayla!" I heard my sister yell making me jerk away from Toby my heart rate quickening. Quickly getting out of the car saying bye to Toby and storming up the drive way into my house.

"What the hell is your problem?!" I snapped at Amber.

"I saw what you were about to do wasn't gonna let you kiss that freak"

"What is going on here?" I turned my head as I saw my mom and dad coming into the hallway leading to the door.

"You don't even know Toby so stop!"

"I talked to my friends about him Kayla he's weird!"

"Toby is the nicest person I've met since we've moved here and he's not weird you're the one who needs to reevaluate her friends"

"I should have known you were gonna make friends with the weirdest kid in school you ruined the last school for me and now you're gonna ruin this one" she screamed

Tears streaming down my face I ran up stairs. Throwing myself into my bed. I can't believe my sister would say that. If only they knew Toby wasn't weird he was just like us but I made a promise to this boy and I'm not breaking it.

I got on my phone to see a text from Toby.

Toby: Hey wanna hangout during lunch tomorrow? You don't have too.
Me: I'd love to maybe at Wendy's since we didn't get to go last night lol.
Toby: okay goodnight:)
Me: goodnight:)

I took at quick shower blow drying my hair and putting on some sweat pants and tank top. I stay think of what Amber said to me "You ruined my last school now you're gonna ruin this one"

Tears started down my face but I wipe them away falling asleep.
