Dont take me away

"You did what?!" Chris yelled at me.
"I know I'm sorry I had to say something!" I yelled back.
"Ugh!" He grunted. He sat on the couch and put his hands on his head.
"What you don't like me? Do you not want to be my boyfriend?" I asked. I was joking but it kind of hurt that he sounds so upset.
"No its not that" he stood up and faced me. "I just don't want him asking questions"
"So if he does then you lie to him" I said simply. "Unless you want me to be taken away forever"
"No I would never want that" he grabbed my hands. "I want you to be by my side everyday, when I wake up and when I fall asleep"
I didn't know what to say. For the first time ever. I didn't know what to do I was frozen in my spot gazing into his eyes. He leaned in closer to me, he was going to kiss me. I didn't know what to do. I looked away before his lips got to mine. I pulled away from him and scratched my arms.
"I'm sorry" I said and walked out the house. "Oh shit" I said as I walked down the stairs. What just happened? Why did I do that I was so stupid. I decided to walk to the store and clear my head.

When I get to the store I look around just to look around. I don't want to buy anything but I'm a sucker for candy.
I pick up a pack of gum, open it and throw it in my mouth.

"That's called stealing miss" some man said behind me.

It was a tall black man with tattoos on his arms and muscles to show them off. He had a fresh cut and beautiful eyes. He was pretty attractive. He looked like a family man because he had a shopping cart full of food.

I looked him up and down while chewing my gum. "Imma pay for it" I said and turned back to browsing candy.
"Do you have money?"
"Yes, I have money, sir" I said with an attitude.
"If you don't I can pay for it, you don't have to lie"
I was real offended now. "What I got to lie to you for? I said imma pay for it"
"How 'bout you just come down-" he started.
"No, don't you fucking tell me to come down, bitch" I yelled and people had started to look at us. "What you looking at?!" I yelled at some white lady standing behind this man. "Got me fucked up" I said as I grabbed a bags of candy and threw them in his cart. I didn't want them I was just mad. I grabbed a few bags for myself and began walking to the cash register. I paid for my stuff and got out of there.
