The Regection of Kellita Morris

All things bad

"Rich man, its bad" I said quietly into the phone.
"What the hell happened?" He half yelled.
"Kellita in the hospital"
"Again, what happened?"
"She said her stomach hurt really bad she could barely move, then when we got to the hospital she passed out and they had to rush her to the emergency room"
"Damn well things aren't all good here either"
"What's wrong, you okay?"
"I'm fine, its just Layla, she's in the hospital too"
"What?"
"She overdosed on sleeping pills and tried to drown herself"
"Wow"
"Yea she sent this video message to her mom saying a whole bunch of stuff, don't tell Kellita though, it seems like she's got a lot on her plate already"
"Yea man, that's terrible"
"I know"
"Hey man I gotta go, I'll let you know if anything happens"
"Alright man"

I hung up the phone and put it in my pocket. I turned to Monte and he was looking the ground with tears in his eyes.
"Hey little man" my voice trembled. "What's wrong?"
"I'm scared for Kellita" he said in his eight year old voice.
"Me too little man... Hey come here" he stood up and walked in front of me. I pulled him into my lap and hugged him tight. "Everything's gone be alright, Kellita strong, whatever it is she a get through it"

"Christoph LeRoi?" A doctor walked up to me. I stood up with Monte in my arms.
"Yes, sir?" I asked.
"Kellita will be just fine, we put her on some medication so the stomach pain eases"
"What causes all this?"
"Well, she managed to say that she can't eat but I didn't really understand"
"Oh, she had a lung infection when she was young so she doesn't feel hungry"
"I see" he smiled. "Well I think she is finally getting her appetite back"
"Really" I smiled a little.
"Well we can't be sure but when she woke up she had an enormous appetite. Now I do recommend she stay here for the night so we can care for her and I also recommend that she go to therapy, Tuesdays and Thursdays here at the hospital"
"Of course anything she needs as long as she's ok"
"She'll be fine" he smiled.
"Can we see her?"
"Of course" he said. He pointed to the room Kellita was in and I walked to the room.
I went inside and saw a sleeping Kellita. I put Monte down and walked to her. I kissed her forehead.
"I'll see you in the morning, baby" I whispered in her ear. I turned around to Monte "Come on Monte" I said and we walked out the room.
