"I'm sorry, miss" the man followed me out the store.
"Stop following me" I said quickly.
"I'm not, I'm just apologising"
"Don't you need your stuff?"
"Yea but that can wait"
"Ok" I stopped walking and turned around to look at him. "You said sorry, now leave me alone"
"I just wanted to help you"
"I don't need help, who said they needed help" I yelled.
He walked close to me and his voice got real low. It was cold out here so the warmth from his body made my nose stuffy and my eyes water a little. "I can see in your eyes that you need help"
I sniffed. "I don't need help"
"You don't have to cry"
"I'm not crying" I wiped my eye. "Its cold out here, look I have to go" I turned around and started walking again.
"Ok where's your car I'll walk you to it"
"I don't have a car"
"Then let me take you home"
"So you know where I live no thanks"
"Please, its late, its dark, someone could hurt you"
I stopped walking and thought for a second. "Fine, but this is the last time I want to see you"
He smirked. "I can't make any promises" he started walking to his car and I trailed behind him. His car was so nice, I don't know what kind of car it was but it was all black, slick and looked like it could loose the police.
He opened the door for me. I said thanks and got in. He jogged to the other side got in and we drove in the direction of Chris' house.

"This where you live?"
"Where i'm staying" I said as a got out.
"Wait, here's my number. If you need anything call me. By the way I'm Calvin"
I took the piece of paper and put it in my pocket. "I doubt I'll be using it but thanks Calvin" I closed the door and walked up the stairs to Chris' apartment.

I knocked on the door and it swung open immediately. "Where the fuck did you go?
"I walked to the store" I said walking past him and putting everything on the table.
"I called you"
"I left my phone here, why are you so angry?"
"Cause you were gone for two hours" he yelled.
"What's wrong with that?"
"I thought something happened to you" he calmed down a little but I could see that he was still mad at me.
"I'm sorry, ok? It won't happen again" I walked up to him.
"You sure?"
"I promise" I reached up grabbed his face and kissed him passionately. He hesitated for a moment but he kissed back. I think I'm willing to let him in. Not all the way but just a bit.
