Screaming

  So many choices,
  Screamed by the voices.
  People shouting for the dead
And screaming 'off with his head'.

I know my mind as well as you,
So let's see all you can do.
You seem to have this power,
So please help me in my darkest hour.

  They watch me,
  That's plain to see,
But I know I'm not the same.
It's all my fault, I'm the one to blame.

It'd be so, so easy to let it go,
But we made a promise, you know.
  So on I'll scream
  And on I'll scream.

How do you do it?
You don't make me feel counterfeit,
You make me feel like I should live on,
To make an effort to be less withdrawn.

As my sunlight fades,
I'm shackled by the choices I made.
The agony I hold in my hands,
Is a dream I hope you never understand.

My life will never be stable,
In this broken and empty fable.
I never want to see you end,
So don't say goodbye my friend.

It'd be so, so easy to just let go,
But we made a promise, you know.
So on I'll scream,
And on I'll scream.

I'm still running through this nightmare,
I really wish you didn't care.
All I do is drag you down,
I never ever wish to see you frown.

Bound with chains and hung by shackles,
  Listening to their maddening cackles.
  I'll never forget that day,
Where all my pain just faded away.

  You make me happy,
  And oh so sappy.
But all good things must leave,
  Before my happiness can conceive.

It'd be so, so easy to just let go,
But we made a promise, you know.
  So on I'll scream,
  And on I'll scream.
