The crisp air that falls between Autumn and winter. It's coming. The trees gently swaying between the winds breezes. My favorite. So bright.
Sun streaks leak through the windows from early morning and shine bright on my face. I wake up to the beautiful chill mornings. I'm not a morning person but seasonal like this I am.
Another day goes by as I get my coffee from Starbucks. It's only a couple steps away. School is around the corner and I need a new wardrobe. Maybe I should ask one of my best friends to come with me. Hunter, maybe he will go with me, hopefully.
I call him.
"Hey, Hunter are you doing anything later?"
"No. What's up?"
"I was wondering if you can come with me and shop?"
"Hm, I will have to get to you on that." he teases.
"Thanks! I love you too!"
"No problem. I'll come get you around noon. The earlier the better." he chuckles.
"Thanks a million."
We hang up the phone and I get ready. My style hasn't changed much for the past few years, but I can still pull off some of the old clothes that I have hanging. They still look cute enough to wear. Since it's my last year in school, I wanna look presentable. Time sure does fly by fast. I'm already a senior and I'm leaving for college.
A knocking is upon my door and Hunter just walks right in. Always knocking once and walks right in my house. I guess this is what happens when you grow up with someone and you get used to them. I understand you do things together a lot but have some self respect to others at least. Not Hunter. He is such a pain sometimes but once you get past that bad boy image, he isn't that bad at all. He is sweet and caring. The first thing he does is plop on my couch like he owns the place.
"So you ready?" he glances over and stares me up and down. Why does he do that knowing he has a girlfriend is is kind of a bitch. Sorry to say, but it's true. Lots of people don't like her.
"Yea. I've been waiting on you." I smirk.
Both of us leave and I lock the house. I live alone since my parents are divorced and all they ever did was argued. I decided to live on my own anyway so I can live my life with my own rules instead of someone else.
My house isn't too big but not too small either. I live on the outskirts of London, England. I am originally born from America, but my parents wanted to move here and get away from things. They thought it would be a better life for me and luckily it was. We came here when I was just about 2 years old. I don't remember much but living here is the best.
"So where do you wanna go shopping at?"
"Maybe a place called the mall?" I giggle.
Our stupidity is what makes up great best friends because of the fact that we are very open with each other. Everyday we act crazy. It's who we are and no one can change that.
"Alright! The dump it is!" he teases.
I laugh from his face expression. I always thought Hunter was my brother at first but those feelings changed as we hung out more let alone growing up with him. I started to have a crush on him since the 1st grade. I never knew how to show my feelings so I kept them hidden. Away from the world that shows no emotion. It changed. I changed.
"Don't be like that. I'll buy you food. Sound good?"
"Fuck Yea! I'm in on that!" he laughs. His laugh is quite unique. I'm actually jealous of his girlfriend. She acts like she is so nice too and pretty. I look at myself compared to her and I look like shit compared to her. She could be a model if she wanted to. Her name is Julie. They have been together for about a year now.
