A/N- The reference later in chapter is for ya nasty little beans in the chat. You're welcome. But in all seriousness, I'm really thankful for you guys. It's been amazing getting to talk and know all of you. You're all fantastic and each one of you is unique and beautiful, never forget that!! I love ya'll, and I'm very proud to be your mom <3
Tyler's POV
I was in an empty room tied to a chair. My fingers were starting to tingle due to the ropes around my wrists starting to cut off my blood flow. Apparently I had been struggling earlier, because the ropes had blood on them and anywhere there were ropes, there was pain.
The walls were plain black and there was a single light bulb hanging from the ceiling with no cover on it.
"Hello Tyler." My head snapped to the right and there was Blurryface casually walking towards me. I instantly began to struggle against the ropes more. Ignoring the pain I tried as hard as I could to get away from him, but the ropes were too strong.
"Get away from me!!" I shouted as I continued to try to pull against the ropes.
"It's no use to try escaping Tyler. You're in my realm right now; I control everything here. We need to talk. Look at me."
He grabbed the sides of my face and made me look him dead in his eyes. His hands felt like ice and his eyes felt like they were tearing my soul apart.
"That's better. You know the anniversary of your siblings death is coming up, the siblings that you killed."
Immediately tears welled up in my eyes and spilled down onto my cheeks.
"It's not my fault..."
"I know you don't believe that, not for one second. It's your fault they're dead, and it's your fault your parents got divorced, you know that as well as I do. Now, as I was saying, the anniversary is coming up. That is Josh's deadline. If he doesn't destroy you by then, then he doesn't get to go to heaven. He'll be stuck here with you until you die."
"Why would killing me get him into heaven? Murder is one of the worst crimes there is."
Blurryface finally removed his hands and walked away from me. Immediately I let my eyes drop to the floor so I wouldn't have to look at him and tried to focus on keeping my breaths steady. Remember Tyler, he lies. Josh isn't out to get you; he wants to help you...
"Oh Tyler, don't you see? If he kills you, he's going to save so many other people from the pain, suffering, and even death that you would've caused them. If you live, you're going to cause more people to die. Do you want that? I assume the answer is no, and if you want to avoid that, you need to start listening to me. If you do what I say, you can avoid causing others grief. Josh is trying to kill you before you have the chance to change. I'm giving you an opportunity to live. Now tell me, who is actually doing what's best for you? Who is the REAL bad guy here? Me or Josh?"
I was trying to block him out, I really was, but it was so hard. I could hear his voice with my ears, but it also sounded like his voice was echoing and bouncing around in my skull.
"Leave me alone, please..." my voice was quiet and shaky. There was no real power behind my words, just a desperate plea. I've tried to get Blurryface to leave me alone, but it has never worked before. So, why would it work now?
The worst part of all of this was his words actually made sense to me. I know nothing of Josh, just stories from people around town. And it's so easy for people to put on an act around others; I've experienced that first hand one too many times.
