Who Dunnit (Infinite)

Chapter 4

Sungyeol was finishing up his first plate when the police arrived.  

One of the police officers pulled Sunggyu aside...

cop: Do you know anyone who would want Dongwoo dead?

Sunggyu: No, everyone liked Dongwoo. Have you guys come up with any leads on the manager's death?

cop: I'm not at liberty to share any details with you on that case. Have you contacted Dongwoo's parents as yet?

Sunggyu: No, we were going to leave it up to you guys.

cop: Is there anything else we should know?

Sunggyu: There was a note in Dongwoo's pocket which said 'you know too much'

cop: Why were you digging in his pockets?

Sunggyu: His phone rang.

cop: Who removed the note?

Sunggyu: Hoya, it fell out as he took the phone out of Dongwoo's pocket.

cop: Who else did you see touch the body.

Sunggyu: Sungyeol drew on his face, he  

thought Dongwoo was sleeping when he did it. I think Sungjong might have touched the body. He was in the same room.

They returned to the room with the other members.

cop: I'm going to take you guys downtown to get your official statements.

They told the police officers what happened that night and in the morning. By the time they got home it was about five so they ended up missing the manager's funeral.

Woohyun: Guys I'm going out.

Sunggyu: Where are you going?

Woohyun: I'm a big boy, I can take care of myself.

He went to the kitchen and grabbed some stuff and left with a bag on his back.

Sungyeol: What's his problem?

L: I don't know.

Sunggyu: I'm going to visit the manager's mom since we missed the funeral. Anyone want to tag along?

L: Sungyeol and I are going to visit Dongwoo's mom.

Hoya: I'll go with you guys.

Sungjong: I'll go with Sunggyu hyung.

Sunggyu: Okay. Be home before nine.

At the manager's house Woohyun knocked on the door. Kara opened the door and greeted him wearing a black dress and her hair pinned up.

Kara: Mr. and Mrs. Kim aren't home right now. 

As she was about to close the door he put his hand on the door to stop it from closing.

Woohyun: I was actually hoping to see you. I brought you some things. How are you holding up?

She opened the door and invited him in. 

She took the packed lunch he gave her into the kitchen then returned to the living room where he was already seated.

Kara: I'm good. I hope it's not spicy.

Woohyun: Don't worry it's not, I know how you don't like anything spicy. How are you going to take care of the baby?

Kara: I'm going to move back home to my parents.

Woohyun: Oh.

He looked disappointed.

Woohyun: If you picked me you wouldn't have to move.
