Chapter 7

The morning of the next day....

Woohyun got up early to get breakfast for everyone. He knocked on Sunggyu's door, but there was no answer, he opened the door and Sunggyu was gone. Woohyun looked all over for him, when he didn't find him then he alerted Hoya and Sungjong who helped him search. Woohyun went back to his room to change his shirt, he saw Sunggyu sitting at the foot of his bed. 

Woohyun: Hyung what are you doing here?

Sunggyu: Looking for you.

Woohyun: I was looking for you, I brought breakfast.

Sunggyu: Thanks, but I'm not hungry.

Woohyun texted the others to let them know that he found Sunggyu. 

Woohyun: If he's innocent they'll be able to prove it.

Sunggyu: I hope that you're right.

Woohyun changed his shirt. 

Sunggyu: Going somewhere?

Woohyun: Yeah, I have a hot date with a certain pregnant lady.

Sunggyu: Do you honestly think you'll be able to take care of someone else's baby?

Woohyun: I will since it's also Kara's baby.

Sunggyu: Ok, but you might not want to call him or her an 'it' in front of Kara.

Woohyun: Aye aye captain.

Woohyun left right when Hoya and Sungjong walked in.

Sunggyu: That poor baby.

Hoya: Huh?

Sunggyu: That kid thinks that he can be someone's father. 

Sungjong and Hoya laughed.

Woohyun arrived at the Kim's home their car was not in the driveway which meant they had already left for work. He knocked on the door. Kara was wearing her robe over her nightgown.

Kara: Do you know what time it is?

Woohyun: Yeah.

Kara: When you said tomorrow I was thinking around 2 or 4 pm not 8am. I haven't had breakfast yet.

Woohyun: That was the point I'm here to make you breakfast. A pregnant woman should eat breakfast.

Kara: She also needs her sleep too. 

Woohyun smiled at her.

Kara: Fine come in, and don't make a mess in Aunty's kitchen. 

Kara sat on a stool in the kitchen watching Woohyun cook, it was a scene she was all too familiar with. 

Woohyun: You can go get ready while I cook. 

Kara got up and went to get ready for breakfast. She came down 20 minutes later. 

Woohyun had the food laid out and the table set.

Kara: I would be lying if I didn't say that I miss the smell of your cooking. 

Woohyun: I could come here everyday to cook for you.

Kara: Don't, you'll only make matters complicated.

Woohyun: Complicated for who, you?

Kara: I don't know what you're talking about friend.

He smiled then continued eating. After they were done eating Woohyun helped Kara wash the dishes.

Kara: You know you shouldn't be doing this since you did the cooking. 

Woohyun: I want to. 

He put some of the foam on her nose.

Kara: Hey! 

She splashed him with water, Woohyun laughed. He flinged some foam at her again and she returned the favor by splashing him with water. 

Kara: Stop, we're making a mess.

Woohyun: You started it.

Kara: It was you and your foam. 

Woohyun: Where's the mop?

Kara: In that closet over there.

She pointed to the small cupboard by the refrigerator. After they were done in the kitchen Woohyun suggested that they watch TV. They went into the living room, Kara sat on at the opposite end of the couch.

Woohyun: Why are you so far away? I won't bite, well not right away.

Kara laughed.

Kara: How are the guys doing?

Woohyun: They're fine, L was taken into custody yesterday and Sungyeol's dead. 

Kara: Are you serious?

Woohyun: I wouldn't joke about something about that.

Kara: Didn't you think you should have mentioned that earlier.

Woohyun: What was I going to do ring the doorbell and say 'Good morning, L's been taken into custody for the death of your boyfriend and Dongwoo, also Sungyeol was stabbed to death yesterday.' I didn't want to upset you.

Kara: I'm a big girl you know. 

Woohyun: You're pregnant.

Kara: Since when is being pregnant considered~

She held her stomach.

Woohyun: What's wrong?

Kara: The baby's moving.

Woohyun moved next o her.  

Woohyun: Can I feel?

Kara: okay, put your hand right here.

She guided him to where he should place his hand to feel the baby. 

Woohyun: Hey, I feel him. He's the future Ip Man.  

Kara: No, he'll learn taekwondo.

The movie on the television started, it was Titanic. Woohyun took his hand off of her stomach. 

Woohyun: Oh look it's our movie.

Kara: You need to stop doing that.

Woohyun: What?

Kara: Bringing up the past.

Woohyun: It's not like I arranged for this movie to be playing at this time. 

Kara: It's not just this. Woohyun I can't, we can't.

Woohyun: Then why do your eyes say otherwise. 

Kara: Don't tell me how I feel. 

Woohyun: I wouldn't need to if you stopped lying to yourself.

Kara: You think I don't know that?!

Woohyun: Then why do you?

Kara: I can't do this. Do you really want a girl who cheated on you and then got pregnant with some else's child.

He leaned in closer.

Woohyun: Isn't that for me to decide. 

He kissed her, and she kissed him back. A strange feeling of happiness came over Kara, a tear trickled down her face. They broke free. Woohyun wiped the tear off her face.

Woohyun: I don't care if the baby isn't mine, let me take care of the both of you. I still love you Kara.

Kara was about to talk.

Woohyun: Don't say anything just yet, think about it and give me your answer tomorrow.

Woohyun left to head back to the hotel.
