Who Dunnit (Infinite)

Chapter 5

They left the Kim's residence and went back to their dorm.

Their new temporary manager (Manager Choi) told them that they would be staying at a hotel until they find a better location to stay until the killer is caught.

They settled into their suite which had two rooms. Sungyeol, Sungjong and L shared one room and the rest shared the other.

Sungjong: Hyung do you think we'll be safe here.

Sungyeol: I hope so.

Sungjong: I'm scared.

Hoya walked into their room, "Maybe we can crack this case before the police do."

L: You're not Sherlock Holmes.

Hoya: You're right, I'm more like Velma, I even have the glasses too.

L: Aren't you afraid you might get killed like Dongwoo hyung for knowing too much?

Hoya: No, I can't be killed.

Sungjong: Wow, really?!

Sungyeol, L and Hoya laughed.

The guys went downstairs for dinner. When they returned Woohyun opened the door of the room he shared with Sunggyu and the manager "what did you do to the room?"

Sunggyu: What do you mean what did I do?

He looked over Woohyun's shoulder into the room.

Sunggyu: Go in the room to make sure no one is in there. 

The others came over to the door to see what was going on. 

Woohyun: Manager Choi, are you in there?

There was no answer.

Woohyun: Hyung you go in first, I'll cover you.

Sunggyu: Hey, why don't one of you go in?

Sungyeol: No.

Sunggyu: I'm your leader, obey me.

L: No, it's not our room. I'm going back to mine let's go Sungyeol.

Sunggyu: Maknae.

L: You can't be serious. 

Sunggyu: Fine I'll be the brave one,  Woohyun follow me.

Sunggyu took his shoe off and held it in his hands ready to use it as a weapon.

Sunggyu: Let's go in on 3. 1, 2...

Woohyun: 3

He pushed Sunggyu in the room and ran in the opposite direction.

Sunggyu: Ya!

Sunggyu slowly walked around being careful of what he was stepping on. He walked passed the bed when something grabbed hold of his ankle "Ahhhh!" he didn't know what it was but he started hitting it with his shoe "Help the killer has me" Sungjong, L, Sungyeol and Hoya rushed over. They heard groaning.

Sungjong: I told you zombies exist.

Hoya: Hyung calm down it's manager Choi!

Sunggyu stopped and the person let go of his ankle.

They removed the clothes off of the manager. Sungyeol screamed.

Manager Choi: What's the matter?

Sungjong: Your face.

Manager Choi found a mirror and looked in it, he had a black eye and one cheek was almost as big as his head, he was also covered in some of his own blood. 

Sungyeol: That's scary too but I was screaming because of the message on the wall.

Choi: Hey guys don't I still look handsome?

He smiled revealing his bloody teeth.

Sunggyu read the message out loud "You can run but you can't hyde."

L laughed. "Seems like whoever left the message on the wall can't spell."

Hoya went closer to the wall.

Sungyeol: Poor manager Choi, they used his blood to write the message.

Hoya: How are you so sure it's they and not a he or she?

Sungyeol: I'm just guessing.

Hoya stuck his finger into the red substance then licked his finger. His facial expression changed.

Sungjong: Oh no, something is wrong with Hyung.

Sunggyu: Are you okay Hoya?

Hoya: No, I hate ketchup.

Woohyun: Ketchup?!

Sunggyu: Yah! Where did you go? Come here for a minute.

Woohyun slowly backed away then ran, Sunggyu chased after him.

Hoya: Manager Choi, what happened after we left?

Manager Choi: I was reading One Piece when there was a knock at the door, the person said it was room service. I thought you guys might have sent me food so I opened the door without hesitating. Then it went~

He fainted.

Hoya: We should call an ambulance.

L: I'll do it.

Sunggyu came back with Woohyun in a headlock.

Sunggyu: What's wrong with him?

Sunggyu let go of Woohyun.

Hoya: He fainted, I think someone hit him over the head and trashed this room before writing that message on the wall.

The paramedics approached the room

Sungjong: How did they get here so fast?

Hoya: The hospital is just down the street.

Sungjong: Hyung, you're so smart.

The police officers took a little longer to arrive.

Cop 1: Seems like this person, isn't done with you boys just yet.

Cop 2: Is anything missing?

Sunggyu: We haven't had time to look yet.

Cop 1: Could be an obsessed fan or a crazy ex girlfriend. 

The paramedics put the manager Choi on the stretcher and took him to the hospital.

Cop 2: You'll have to find somewhere else to sleep tonight, we'll search for clues and review the security tape of the hotel.

Sunggyu: We'll just get another suite here.

Cop 2: Ok, suit yourself.
