Final Chapter: The Woman He Loved

L was released from the hospital 12 days later. Woohyun hadn't seen Kara since the day that Sungjong was arrested. 

L was sent to his parents' house to continue recuperating. Sunggyu was still waiting for news from the company. They feared that the group would be forced to disband or worse, their contracts would be annulled. 

Woohyun, Sunggyu and Hoya were allowed back into the dorm. As soon as they arrived Woohyun immediately got ready to leave.

Sunggyu: Are you sure you want to do this? You might not be able to take care of them anytime soon.

Woohyun: I'll find a way to make money even if I have to wait on tables.

Sunggyu: Good luck. 

Woohyun: Thanks but I don't think I'll need it. What are you going to do today?

Sunggyu: Dongwoo's mom should be coming today to collect his belongings.

Woohyun: What about Sungyeol's stuff?

Sunggyu: I'm not sure when or if they're coming. 

Woohyun: I'm leaving now.

Woohyun arrived at the Kim's residence.  He rang the doorbell, there was no answer at first then he rang it again this time Mrs. Kim answered the door.

Mrs. Kim: Are you here to see Kara again?

Woohyun blushed.

Woohyun: Yeah.

Mrs. Kim: You don't have to be shy about it, she told me what happened between the two of you before she left.

Woohyun: Left?

Mrs. Kim: I'm sorry she left a week ago, she said she was going back to her parents' house. 

Woohyun: Do you know where it is?

Mrs. Kim: She didn't leave an address, I think it might be somewhere in Gwangju. She left this for you.

She handed Woohyun an envolpe. 

Woohyun: Thank you.

Mrs. Kim: Would you like to come in for a cup of tea?

Woohyun: It's ok, I have to get going anyway.

Mrs. Kim: I understand, when you find her tell her to give me a call.

Woohyun: How did you~?

Mrs. Kim: The look on your face. Good luck.

Woohyun: Thank you. I'll let her know. Bye.

Woohyun couldn't wait to get back to the dorm to open the letter. When he got off the bus and opened it as he walked home. A few seconds later his knees buckled. The letter read....

Dear Woohyun,

I'm sorry although I do love you I can't be with you. I never cheated  on you with manager Kim, we lied; please don't blame him. I didn't want me and the child to be a burden to you. I know that you want to be a famous singer and we would only hinder you from achieving your goals. 

Please don't look for me, when the time is right I will let him know that you're his father. I've decided to name him after you. Forget about this selfish woman and take care of yourself. I'll be watching you whenever you're on the television so hurry up and appear on more shows.  I'll always cheerish the time we spent together.

Hoya was coming back from the store and saw Woohyun standing there with his hand against the wall of a building.
