Cracking the top of a coke bottle on the counter I brushed a loose strand of my blonde hair out of my face. It was so hot outside and I had been playing football with the gang in the lot all day. Ponyboy and I were in the kitchen getting drinks for everyone.
"Get me a beer doll face!" Dally yelled from the living room.
I rolled my eyes as Two-Bit called "make that two!"
I reached across the counter top for the bottle opener. Ponyboy froze and blushed as I reached over him.
"Easy tiger." I say
Ponyboy blushed like mad. We started bringing in the drinks a few at a time. I handed Two-Bit his beer and Johnny a coke. I handed Steve a coke and Soda a glass of chocolate milk. I sat down next the Dally on the floor and handed him a beer. I sipped my coke and Dally watched me. I starred at the TV and watched a fly land on the screen. I blew on it and it flew away. Dally smirked at me.
"What?" I asked
"What else can you blow?" Dally smirked
"Your chances of not getting arrested." I smirk
Dally's eyes grew wide "you wouldn't!"
"I would." I say
"You'd what?" Soda asked
"Last week Dallas here went for a joy ride in a Socs car then dumped it into the ocean." I laugh
Laughter erupted from the gang.
"Damn soc deserved it." Dally mumbled against his beer bottle.
Soda sat down next to me and slung his arm over my shoulder.
"Besides Dallas, Sydney's my girl." He said
I swat his arm away and laugh.
"You wish."
Ponyboy was talking with Darry in the kitchen and that's when Darry came in.
"Let's go skating!" Darry said
We all agree and everyone piles into Darry's truck. Steve, Two-bit, Dally and I all sit in the flatbed. Ponyboy, Johnny and Soda pouted when Darry wouldn't let them join.

Ponyboy ties my skates for me but Darry drags him away and he looks slightly annoyed. I tried to stand up but fell flat on my back. Johnny was standing over me.

"Sydney! Are you alright?" He asked as he helped me up.
"Yeah, I'm fine." I say
I wobbled on my skates and held onto Johnny. Johnny and I skated for awhile as the Beatles filled the rink. I held onto Johnny's hands and we skated. He blushed a lot and was very talkative. We decided to take a break and sat at the table with Two-Bit. I heard Ponyboy talking with Darry off to the side.

"I don't know... I'm all mixed up- she's too old for me..." Ponyboy mumbled

"There's other girls, girls your age." Darry reassured

"I guess...Why does she have to be so damn perfect?" Ponyboy whined 

"Come on kid." Darry said 

Darry dragged Ponyboy back over to the table where we were all talking.

"Sydney, kiss me if i'm wrong... but dinosaurs still exist right?"  Two- Bit said 

I laughed and shoved french fires in his face.

"Kiss the fires!" I laugh

Johnny chatted on about something I didn't much care about when Steve and Soda came skating by catching my attention. Steve winked at me as he tried to show off, I rolled my eyes and laughed as Soda made a heart with his hands. I didn't know where Dallas was, I figured he went to pick up on some chick. Just then he came strolling over to the table and pulled up a chair. 

"Hey guys, hey Sydney." Dally said.

We all talked a bit more when Dally pulled out a coin after starring at me for a while. He tossed it in the air as he spoke.

"Hey Sydney?" Dally got my attention "If I flip this coin what are my chances of getting head?" 

Two- Bit laughed and Darry snapped at him for saying such dirty things in front of Ponyboy. Johnny and I on the other hand turned red. I sighed and put my hand on Dally's.

"Look Dallas, if it means that much to you then I will go out with you." I say 

Dally smirked "The Dingo, then Bucks 7 tonight." 

Dally got up and began to walk away not before kissing my cheek.

"Wear somthin cute doll face!" He called behind him.
