Lucy's pov

Gajeel has been gone a week and I miss him more than ever.The baby,Lana,is really active and strong,just like her father.Ive been having a really tough time on my own,away from him.Mira comes over Sunday Monday and Tuesday,and Levy comes over Wednesday Thursday Friday and Saturday,to help.The thing is,this baby,she's different,I can feel it she is not like anybody,yet I don't understand why,she just IS.Mira came over today and we were having a good time,and ALMOST,nothing went wrong.
*earlier*
"Hey Lucy how are you?"She asked.
"I'm good."I replied.
"Really,cuz you look exhausted."
"No really I'm fine."
"Ok great."she chirpped.
"Well I am kinda hungry."I said.
"Oh let me get you some food."
"Mira,I'm pregnant not handicapped,I can still do things on my own."
"I know."
"Ok fine."I let her get me some food.
"What would you like?"she asked.
"The classic,pickles and ice cream."I said and she gave me a weird look.
"What?"I started,"It's yummy."
"Hey,not judging."she stated.
"The look was very judgmental Mira."
"Well,that's my "it may look like I'm judging you,but I'm not" look."she said struggling to keep a straight face.
"Oh really."I said and we both bursted into giggles.
"Ok ok I'll get you your request."she said and went into the kitchen.My stomach has swollen a lot more over the past week,I'm guessing this is the stage where the baby developed the most.It isn't that bad,but it's kind of annoying.I concluded that I am going to go with Mira and Levy tomorrow to the guild to tell everyone my news about the baby.I was planning and thinking about all of this until I was interrupted by a certain pink-haired someone burst through my window.
"Lucy what was that?"Mira called from the kitchen.
"NATSU WHAT THE HELL?!"I yelled.
"Ummm hi."he said sheepishly.
"Scared the crap outta me."I said.
"Well I wanted to see you."He added.
"Yeah I get that but why did you burst in through the window?"I asked.
"I always do...?"he stated as a question.
"Ughh whatever."I dismissed.
"So why haven't you been at the guild?"
"Because..."I started,I pulled my blanket up around me more he couldn't tell I was pregnant because of how big the blanket was.
"Because...why?"he asked and smiled.
"Because I don't wanna talk to anyone about "things"..."I said,trailing off.
"What things Lucy,you can tell me."
"Not if I don't want to."I shot at him.
"Well you should because I'm you friend."He shot back,seeming mad.
"Why are you getting mad at me?"I asked,annoyed.
"Because you're keeping secrets."
"No I'm not."
"Yes.You.Are"He stated.
"Well, maybe it's because you don't need to know everything about me!"I snapped at him.
"Lucy-"
"No,stop you should go."
"Lucy I just-"
"Natsu leave."I demanded.
"Look I just wanted to talk-"
"GET OUT!"I screamed at him.And with that he left me,finally alone.
"What was that?"Mira said.
"Oh I uhh..."
"Why did you just snap at him?"
"Mira I don't know."
"There had to be a reason."
"Mood swing probably."
"Oh yeah I forgot about that."She said.
"Well you didn't have to scream at him."she said under her breath.
"Mira."I growled.
"Jeez sorry."she said defensively.
"I'm sorry I don't know what's wrong with me."I apologized.
"Mood swings."she said.
"Besides that."I laughed playfully.
"Yeah I know what you meant."she agreed.
"Here I finished with your ice cream."
"Why did it take so long?"
"Your ice cream was a frozen block."
"Oh,sorry bout that."I said taking the bowl from her.
"It's fine."she sighed.
"I really miss Gajeel."I said sadly.
"I know but you still got me and Levy to help you with the baby."
"Lana."I said.
"What?"she said,confused.
"The baby,her name,it's Lana."
"Oh that's cute did you pick it?"
"No."I shook my head,"Gajeel did."
"Oh wow that's creative,for him at least."she said giggling.
"Hey he is the father."I scolded.
"I know I know."she said.
"Well I think Lana is going to be very cute just like her name."she commented smirking.
"Yeah but I feel like she's going to be more than that though."I said.
"What is she god or something?"Mira asked jokingly.
"Of course not but ever since two weeks ago,she's been getting bigger and a lot stronger."I explained to her.
"Well yeah she's growing all babies are like that."
"Yeah but it's different like she is stronger than she should be."
"Well maybe she is."Mira concluded.
"Yeah maybe..."
