The ringing of my alarm woke me up, my hands automatically moved towards the source of noise coming from my bedside table.

My hands felt all over the surface trying to find the alarm, but instead it hit something else, causing it to fall hitting the ground with a sound of shattering glass.

The smile of the new day dropped from my face in a second knowing what crushed.

I put my feet down from the bed careful not to hurt myself with any of the broken glass, my knees hit the ground as I sat on my legs, my hands moving the glass away, careless of the tiny cuts and the sounds of my annoying alarm.

My fingertips finally touched the piece of paper, I grabbed it gently holding it close to my heart as memories started to hunt me again.

Happiness swarmed my body from head to toe as I took a picture with my parents after winning the mid-final national piano contest.

The photographer handed me the picture with a smile and a quite 'congratulation' that I returned with a 'thank you' just as quite.

My father rested his arms around my shoulders and my mother's arm rolled around my waist, both proud of me as we walked out of the place and towards the car, settling inside it.

I rolled the seat belt around my waist, knowing how my father drives when he is happy and tipsy, I will need it.

"I'm, Oh! So happy to remind you that now that I won the Mid finals, I won the first bet." I said gladly as the car started.

"What bet honey?" mum asked taking a deep breathe at the first of the sentence.

"Don't you act dumb, you know what I mean! You promised to allow me to buy my own apartment if I won the mid-finals and… you also said you would pay for half the apartment if I become the national champion. Aha!" I said proudly doing the most stupid sassy finger movement you could imagine.

" Why don’t you remember the things we ask you to do like you remember this kind of stuff? Ha? Ha?" dad said shaking his head, making me laugh.

"we will talk about this later love, now we have a party to attend!" Mum said making me smile at how lucky I am to have them.

My parents had me at a really young age, Making them those young and reckless parents that everybody likes. They are sometimes really crazy but who am I to talk! I'm not pretty normal myself.

My smile dropped as the car jerked suddenly.

"Dad I think you should turn on the light the road is pretty dark…" I said as my heart started beating faster and my chest getting tighter as if something bad was going to happen.

"No need love, I'm alright, Just tell me when the turn comes." Dad said and I turned my head turned towards the window noticing the turn passing.

"THE TURN JUST PASSED!" I shouted.

"It's okay Hun." Dad took a wild turn.

a tree.

If someone ever told you it all happen slowly, they are lying.

It was all so fast, too fast.

there was screaming, I think I'm screaming.

The sound glass shattering and useless brakes.

It all turned black and stayed like that since then.
