--Courtney's P.O.V--

The cruise was better than I originally thought it was going to be. I hardly thought about the water at all because I was always busy keeping up with Séverine, Bowser, and Benji and Tyler and I's friendship was slowly getting restored. He was beginning to open up to me and I was doing the same with him; however, I made sure to avoid the topic of Pierre at any costs. It was hard enough to deal with them casting death glares at each other every time they crossed paths. On the other hand, I was glad that everything was going alright other than that.

Tyler informed me that he still ran into Jenna around Columbus occasionally and almost every time that happened Jenna always tried to get back together with him. I was quite shocked when Tyler told me that he had no interest in her anymore. He was going to marry her four years ago. Well, that was until I came back into the picture.

Sometimes I blamed myself for ruining Tyler's life and I always ended up talking to David about it because he always seemed to relate. I never understood why he felt the same as me until I met London. I felt bad for not being with Tyler and he felt bad for loving London. We were basically in the same situation.

Over the years, the guilt had lessened, but now that Tyler had mentioned that he wasn't dating anyone else, I, again, felt extremely guilty. He was waiting for me to leave Pierre, I knew that, but that wasn't going to happen, and I didn't want him to never try and find love again just because of me.

I leaned against the boat railing, looking out onto the ocean, my hands surprising not shaking. "Hey, Courtney," a familiar voice said from off to my left.

I turned my head to see the familiar face of my younger sister's boyfriend, MacKenzie. He looked very different since the last time I had been home and seen him. His once pale blonde now was now streaked with brown and he seemed to have gained a few extra pounds along with a few inches in height.

"MacKenzie?" I asked in disbelief, holding my arms open for a hug. He accepted it, pulling me against him for a few seconds before letting go. "What are you doing here? Did anything happen with Ginger? Did you break up with her?"

MacKenIe chuckled. "No, no, I didn't break up with your sister, Courtney. I'm here for my job. Did you forget that I'm a professional photographer?"

Truthfully, I did. The last time I had seen Ginger, she told me about his photography, but I was in bad shape. The information managed to escape my head quite easily until now.

"I kinda did forget," I responded. "I'm sorry."

MacKenzie shook his head, looking out upon the blue water. "It's alright, you were in a bad place then." He paused. "Are you getting better? Do you feel any better?"

"I know you talk to Ginger often, but it's not the same as seeing you in person. I would love to tell her that I saw you and you said you were okay."

I smiled. "Somedays things don't seem any better, but overall, I'm okay. I'm still sorta recovering mentally through therapy and such. However, I am getting happier each day. My kids and Pierre help with that."

"Speaking of your family, where's your partner in crime and your little babies? I've caught a few glimpses of you through out the cruise with them, but I've always been too busy to talk."

"Pierre, Seb, and his wife, Winnie, are watching them currently. I've been thinking about a lot of stuff these last few days and Pierre can tell I'm a bit stressed, so he told me to go walk around for a little bit to clear my head. That's how I ended up here."

MacKenzie chuckled, looking down at his feet. "Well, I'm glad you did end up here. I like talking and developing a relationship with you since you are my girlfriend's sister. From the times, I have talked to you, you seem very cool."
