--Courtney's P.O.V--

Life was always going to be complicated. That was just how it was going to be. However, if I knew that this cruise was going to make my life this difficult, I would have stayed in Montreal like every other time Pierre went on tour.

I thought agreeing to go on this cruise and on tour with Twenty One Pilots would show Tyler that he needed to move on with his life, not waiting around for Pierre and I to crash and burn. Of course, I loved Tyler years ago and I'm sure that I could learn to love him again if Pierre wasn't in my life, but that was the point. I was happy being with my fiancee even if he and I got into fights every once awhile. He was the father of my children and I loved him. Tyler needed to understand that.

Apparently, he wasn't going to anytime soon based on the stunt he pulled in his cabin. I wasn't angry that he tried to kiss me on the cheek. I was more frustrated than anything. I was frustrated with my own self because deep inside I knew that I probably would have let him kiss me and that thought was horrendous.

"Hello, Courtney!"

I rolled my eyes and continued walking as Brendon Urie appeared by my side.

"What's got you in a bad mood?" He asked, raising his eyebrows. "Is it because Tyler Joseph tried to put on the moves on you while you are engaged?"

I stopped, my mouth open in outrage as he just smiled. "Really, Courtney, you should take that as a compliment. That means Tyler likes you and it's quite interesting to watch love triangles unfold, especially when the current boyfriend figures out about the other boy's interest in his girl. That's when the action starts to happen. Black eyes and broken noses everywhere."

"Were you spying on me?" I asked, my tone cold. "There was no way you could have seen that unless you were looking through the door and if you were, that's just so wrong, Brendon."

The boy shrugged. "Ryan and I happened to be strolling passed when we heard some crying from the cabin. We had no clue who's cabin it belonged to, but we were curious." He stopped for a moment as if in thought. "Let me rephrase that, I was curious, Ryan wanted to continue walking. By the time I got him to agree with looking in the window, the crying stopped and we witnessed Tyler trying to kiss you."

I sighed, starting to walk forward once again. I had only met Brendon Urie a few days ago and I was already fed up with him. The thought of him hearing me cry and then deciding to look through the window was terrifying.

Overall, I just wished that I could go back home with my children to Montreal. Pierre told me at the very beginning that if I wanted to go back home before the tour on land started, I could, and I was honestly considering it. If I went back I wouldn't have to worry about Tyler for any longer.

"Maybe I should tell Pierre," Brendon called from behind me, only loud enough so I could hear. "I think he would love to know."

I flipped around. "Please do not tell Pierre, that would only make things worse. He's already in a bad mood and I don't trust him to not hurt Tyler once he finds out. He's never really liked Tyler in the first place."

Brendon smiled. "So I take it that there is some history between you and Tyler?"

I sighed, shaking my head. "Brendon, please, just don't."

He crossed his arms, a smirk forming on his face. "Tell you what. I won't tell Pierre anything and I'll make sure Ryan doesn't either. However, you need to do something for me in return."

"I'm afraid to know what you have planned."

"Oh, you'll see, Courtney, soon enough."
