Only You

What To Do?

   Sam always knew Austin was violent when it came to her, but she never understood why. When she asked, he just shook her off like he had no idea what she was talking about. Just three days ago, he had broken her cheating ex's nose when he showed up at the door.

"Sam!" She opened her eyes to the sound of her name. "Y-yeah?" she asked, yawning and rubbing her eyes. "It's Friday. We have school, Silly." Austin stood over her bed, dressed in jeans and a T-shirt, his usual attire, with the strap of his book bag draped over his shoulder.

Sam finally drug herself out of bed with slight help from Austin. Luckily, he had come over early so she had time to shower and get dressed. She pushed him out of her room playfully and showered. After jumping out, she threw on a band singlet and a pair of skinny jeans with her favorite pair of converse. She quickly brushed her hair and teeth and ran out the door, straight into Austin.

"Woah, where are you going in such a hurry?" he said catching his balance. "I wasn't expecting you to be standing outside my door like some crazy psycho!" Sam answered with a laugh. They walked downstairs together quickly and raced into the kitchen. "I won!" Austin said victoriously. "Whatever! I clearly beat you!" Sam argued, grabbing a bottle of water out of the refrigerator. Her mom had already left for work and wouldn't be back until later that night. "I demand a rematch!" Sam said, downing half her water. "I'll beat you again after school," Austin said, grabbing her book bag and starting out the door. Sam followed behind, locking the door behind them.
