Amber's POV
'Okay, that's all for today. ' I ended the meeting and clean up my things. 'RRING!! RRING!!' I fish out my phone and answer the call. 'AMBER LIU? WHERE ARE YOU? COME BACK NOW! ' wow that so loud until I must move away my phone from my ear. 'Hey chill, what's wrong? ' I asked doubtly.'WHAT'S WRONG? GET YOUR ASS RIGHT HERE NOW! ' she shouted at the line and ended the call quickly. Woah.. I must listen to her if I don't want die in her hand. It so scary when she got angry.
Krystal's POV
'Hello! ' she greet me with big yet innocent smile plastered on her face. 'Sit' I ordered but she just sit with pouting face 'Hey, you know what as a wife you must greet me when I back home and give me a beautiful smile every day. Not that face. Can you imagine when I back you greet me and make me drink, ask me how work, massage my body. Oh my god, that so sweet' she said while clapping her hand and close her eyes dreaming about what she said.
'Amber stop it' I said sternly and she stop from what she was doing and look at me with an innocent eyes. I took out my iPad and put it in front of her. She look with puzzled and reach the table while reading the headline slowly 'CEO OF LIU CORP. HAVE A SCANDAL WITH SOMEONE ' her eyes widen with what she read.
FLASHBACK
'Miss Krystal there a lot of reporter want to meet you. ' Hyelin said calmly 'WHAT? REPORTER? ' I started to panic and ask Hyelin to tell them enter my office. What are they want? Is Amber make problem again? Oh my god, AMBER!!! I shouted in my head.
I looked at the camera in front of me and the reporter was busy fixing their recorder. Amber, this is the last time I help you. Just wait for me. I thought to myself as I calm myself and answer their question wiseful. 'So, Mrs. Krystal is it true your wife Amber Liu have a scandal with other woman? ' one of the reporter ask curiously. I take a deep breath and said 'Sorry, but I think all of you get the wrong information. She just her co-worker and they had a meeting at her apartment for work purpose. Not a scandal' and started from that they bombarded me with many question and I just answer them calmly tried to denied Amber relationship with that girl. I can't get impatient more and ended the so-called interview 'Okay, that's all and for all of your information I know how to take care of my wife and stop make a nonsense news' I get up and heading to the door and open for them.
PRESENT
'Amber, how many time do I have to tell you. Don't act like this anymore. You are the CEO of the company and this thing will damaged your reputation' I scold her badly and she just hang her head low. I didn't know if I can mad at her until she quite like this. At first I surprised at her sudden change from the charisma blondie hair CEO become a tame llama like this. I sigh and said to her 'Amber, I knew you still holding onto your past but please past is past. Let her go, she didn't worth for you. You can't destroy yourself just for her. Every night you will go drunk and I can't see you like this anymore. You are my best friend and I care for you. Remember this is the last warning I give to you. After this, you back-up yourself and don't talk to me again' I get up and leave her alone. 'I'm sorry' the last thing she utter to me.
Krystal's POV
'Krystal~~' I groaned while my name was called. I take the pillow and cover my ear. 'Krystal~~' again I shouted 'Amber, shut up. I want to sleep. Don't disturb me! ' how dare she disturb my precious sleep. 'Krystal~~ get up it morning already. I have something for you. Krystal get up' she said while shake my body slowly. Annoyed with that I uncovered myself and 'Ouch! ' both of us said in unison. Damn, her face so close to mine until we bumped each other. 'Amber! ' I said sternly while glaring at her.
'Hehe, sorry. Now get up. I have something for you. I'll be waited at kitchen. Ppali' she said happily while shove her hand to me. I looked at her hand and said firmly 'I can get up by myself' .I reach the towel and leave her dumbfounded. She thinks she can coax me that easy. Of course not! I said to myself.
'Woah our beautiful princess has come. Here' she said while pull the chair for me. I ignored her and sit on the other chair. She frowned at that but quickly shrugged it off to lighten the mode. 'Here, I have made a delicious breakfast ever for you. Have a test. ' she said while filled up my plate with her so-called breakfast. I glare at her and asked sarcastic 'Did you cook this? ' 'Of course, for the one and only my wife. Hehe. ' she said while giggling. Damn, why she so cute? I recomposed myself and tried to dig out the food. I eat without any word. Hmm... not bad, since when she can cook? I thought to myself. As I eat, I can sense someone was watching me and I looked at her direction. Here she are, looked at me with puppy eyes 'What? ' I ask sternly. 'Is that delicious? You know I have search for this recipe all night long and practice it since 5 in the morning. Now tell me, is it delicious? ' she asked excitedly. Well, I'm praised with her effort but no way I can say yes to this since I still mad at her. 'Not bad, just eat your food Amber.' I said flatly but she has still wide smile on her face.
'Just let me do it. ' she said while take my empty plate and go to the sink. I watch her from the back and crossed my arm. 'Amber, what's wrong with you today? You not go to work? it late already' I asked and she done with her work. She wipe her wet hand and walk to me. 'I'm okay and I want to accompany you today. So, I didn't go to work.' she said with big grin plastered on her face. Such a dork. I rolled up my eyes and heading to living room.
'Krystal, what are you going to do today? ' she asked like a child. 'Nothing. ' I said with poker face. 'Let's watch a movie' she said while getting up from her sit and kneeled in front of the television and mumbled alone 'You know what, yesterday I have bought this movie and the shop owner said it was popular movie this day. 'THE GOOD DINOSAUR' ' she read the movie title and put it into the dvd player. After that she ran to my side and sit too close to me. 'Yah.. don't be so close.' I push her away and she pout at that 'Yah... Krystal shi, you so mean.' I don't want to look at her pouting face and look back to the television because I knew in any second I can fall for it.
'Seriously Amber, you asked me to watch a cartoon movie?' I said to her with disbelief as I saw that big dinosaur cartoon pouring the water all over his farm using his mouth. 'Hey, Krystal. Even though this is a cartoon movie but there were a lot of motivation that can be exampled such a family relationship, love and how to forgive someone' she said while change her gaze to me. I know what you mean Amber. I said to myself.
Amber's POV
As the movie was about to ended I heard a sobbing sound from my side. I looked at her and saw the tears streaming down her cheeks continuously. 'Hey Krystal, what's wrong? ' I close my body to her and make her facing to me. She looked at me with puffy eyes and the next thing is she hug me tightly while mumble in my embrace 'Amber ah~~ this story is so sad.' ahh...she crying because of this story. Now, I get it. 'I've told you right' I said while patting her back and suddenly... wait why my heart beat faster? This feeling... this feeling that I felt 7 years ago has come back. It can't be. I calm myself and shrugged it off my feeling and continued to calm her.
