Krystal's POV
As we reached at home. I quickly go out from the car. Our journey back home was filled with silent. I don't know what to say. I feel so awkward with that kiss. Anyway, why did she kiss me? I want to ask her but if I did, I will get more embarrassed. I feel so stupid when replied her kiss. It made she think I like her too. Did she like me? Aishh... of course not. She is my best friend. Maybe it was birthday kiss. I shrugged it off and quickly heading into my room.
I can't sleep. Every time I want to close my eyes I ended up flashback about that kiss. Arghh... I ruffled my hair out of frustration. My mind was totally messed up. I take a deep breath and remind myself. Stay calm Krystal. Tomorrow will back to normal.
'Good morning' she greet me happily. Awkward with it, quickly I put a food that I prepared earlier in front of her. I think this morning we will back in normal but it totally opposite. Our breakfast was filled with silent. I looked at her and suddenly she looked at me back. Quickly I change my gaze to somewhere else.
'Krystal. I'm sorry about yesterday. I didn't know if you feel uncomfortable about it. Don't be awkward with me please. ' she break the silent and I look at her with poker face. 'Uh... okay. ' I said flatly.
'Drive carefully. ' she said to me and before she getting into her car she wink at me playfully. I look at her dirtily. What's wrong with her? Is she tried to court me? Ah... never mind she always like that. Being cheesy with every girls.
Amber's POV
As I busy with my work, suddenly Lay knocked my door. I asked him to enter without looking at him. 'Miss, I want introduce to you our new investor. She is from Traveller Department. ' I put down my pen and looked at my new investor. Shit, she again. I get up from my seat surprised with her presence.
'Miss Liu, this is Bae Suzy and Miss Bae this is Amber Liu the CEO of Liu Corp. ' Lay introduced her. I look at her intently 'Hye Miss Liu. Nice to meet you. ' she shoved her hand to me and give her charming smile. I take it unwillingly. 'Okay, Miss Liu. I leave both of you. If you need anything just call me. ' Lay bowed to me and close the door nicely.
'Have a sit. ' I offered seat to her at my discussion table. I look at her with straight face and she just smile at me. 'Don't look at me like that Am. It doesn't suit with you. ' she said while letting a small chuckle. 'You planned all this? ' my mood was totally going down by looking at her face. 'Planned what? I'm your business partner. I came here for work purpose' she said slumber. 'Okay fine. We are business partner and please use a formal conservation with me. Remember I will never compromised with you. Please be professional. ' I said firmly as I hold my anger. You can do this Amber, yes you can! Don't let her take you down again. I said in my mind. 'Come on Am, we have knew each other for a long time' she said sweetly while touch my hand but I strong myself and push her hand away. She mouthed sorry.
I can feel her eyes was on me through our discussion. She never focus on our discussion right. I ended the discussion quickly because I can't stand stay alone with her. 'Okay, that's all.' I clean my file and heading to my table. Suddenly she hug me from behind. 'I miss you. ' she mumble behind my back. Surprised with it I broke her hug roughly 'What are you doing? ' I asked half-shouted. 'Hug you? ' she said shameless. 'We are over' I said without interest. 'Please give me a second chance. ' I laughing at her word and mocking her 'Second chance? I think you become crazy already. There were no second chance between us. It's over and plus I married already. ' I shot back at her and leave her dumbfounded as I heading to café to grab some lunch. It such a disgusting to have a business partner like her.
Krystal's POV
'RRING! RRING! ' as I was busy doing my work, suddenly my phone was called by someone. I looked at the caller ID
'PRIVATE NUMBER'
'Again? ' I mumbled to myself. Annoyed with that I pick up that call 'Hello' I said sternly. 'Hello Soojung. How are you? ' he said in the line. 'Who are you and what do you want? ' I said coldly. 'Hey, relax. I just want greeting you. That's all.' he said calmly. 'If you don't want said your name then don't call me like if I knew you' I hanged up the phone irritate with that stranger. How did he got my number? Arghh... that must some physco who is randomly press my number but wait how did he knew my name?
As I busy thinking about him, suddenly Victoria unnie popped out nowhere. 'Yah unnie. You give me an heart attack you know. ' I said while clench my chest. 'Hehe.. sorry. What's wrong with that call? ' she said curiously. 'I don't know, lately there is someone who is interrupted me with a message and a call. Plus, he even knew my birthday and my name. ' I said with scrunched face. 'I think he is your secret admire right? ' she said with excited face. I just shrugged my shoulder not bother to think more about that creepy. 'Krystal, I think you should tell Amber about this. ' Victoria unnie said worriedly. 'Oh no no, I don't want she worried about me. Plus, she has a lot of work to do. I don't want to add her burden. Furthermore, I can handle this alone' I protest.'Ouh okay just be careful.' she reminded me.
Amber's POV
'What are you doing? ' Krystal ask me as she take a sit on the couch while I'm at the floor trying to solve my Rubik cube. 'Solving a Rubik cube? ' I said while my eyes still focus on my Rubik cube. 'Seriously Amber. You're 26 already and you still playing that toys. ' she said while questioning my hobbies. 'Yah, this is not a toy. Furthermore, what do you think I can do besides playing this Rubik cube. Do you want me to check on my file 24 hours. I'm human too. Need some activities that can relax my mind. Plus you don't want to play with me. ' I said with pouting face. 'Yah, who said I didn't want play with you. It's my pleasure to play with you' she whisper sexily to my ears and it give chill down my spine. I gulped my dry throat and try to compose myself 'Play what? ' I asked slowly. 'Of course play this dork' she smack my head and sit beside me. 'Fuh...' I sighed relieve. She gave me some other thought.
'Do you want to learn how play this? ' I asked happily and she nodded with excitement. I take the simple one and asked her to solve it but in 10 second she give up. I chuckle at that and removed my hand to hold her hand from her back like back hugging her. I guide her hand to solve it and she look so happy when she finally can solve it. Suddenly she look at me, our face just inches away and I was stunned by that. I look at her eyes deeply and she did the same thing as me. Slowly, I closer my face. As my lips about to touch her she tilted her face again to the Rubik cube and said awkwardly 'Let's move to the second Rubik. ' I back off from her and scratched my head sheepishly.'Ouh okay' somehow I could see her lips form a little smile.
