I didn't even get a goodbye. While I didn't expect to, it still would have been nice. I was still mad at him, and maybe even more mad now. He just totally doesn't care anymore.
The boys left for the Japan part of their tour, and Ariella finally went back to LA. Now hopefully she'll stay there. Today was supposed to be a normal day, except that it's Tuesday and that's when me and Mikey always go to get ice cream. I couldn't stop thinking about the fact that we won't be able to do that for almost months because of the tour. Maybe we'll go visit them and Mikey and I can go for ice cream then.
I watched all of the kids running around in the sun as I sat under the nice shade of the tree on the school playground. I was never really a big fan of playing games with kids that are always too harsh on the playground, and neither was Kenzie. I think that might have been one of the many, many reasons we used to get along so well.
I looked up from my feet, searching the playground for Kenzie. Across the field, there with Peyton and Amber was Kenzie. Oh, maybe she got new friends. I couldn't help but hope that she would look over and see me, then come sit with me. It was going to be a long and lonely few months without the boys here if I had no friends to spend them with. Sighing, I pushed myself up off the ground and started walking back towards the doors the building.
"Hey, look out!" Someone yelled, catching my attention and making me look towards a ball that luckily, came flying right past me and not actually hitting me. Letting out a breath I didn't know I was holding, I looked over to where I heard the voice coming from. It was Carter Jayce.
I didn't have a problem with Carter, he's just not the type of kid I would hang out with. Though he does seem pretty nice. At least he warned me about the ball hurdling though the air that could have taken my head off. He smiled and waved at me, and I gave him a small smile back before walking back into the school.
After school was finished, I went home because I had something very important to do. Well, it was important to me. I had to FaceTime the boys. I quickly ran through the house and up to my room, grabbing my iPod so I could call them. Within a few seconds, I could see Mikey and Calum on the screen.
"Har Har! How're ya doing?" Mikey asked, the bright smile on his face making me smile. "I'm good! I had a pretty good day at school today." Knowing he would ask that next, I just answered it right away.
"That's great litt-" Mikey's words were interrupted by a loud slam of a door, and by the shake of Calum's head I could tell it was Luke. I sighed looking down at my feet. Well, that totally ruined the whole rest of the call. Calum was going to speak when I heard a contagious giggle that could only belong to one person. "Ashton!"
My mood instantly improved. Like I said, his laugh was extremely contagious. "Harley! How's it been going back in Australia?" He asked, as his face came into the frame of the camera so I could see him. "It's pretty good. Boring without you guys here, though." I stuck my bottom lip out in a pout, and Ashton shook his head. "No, you can't do that! You know the pouty face is what takes me down every time!"
I giggled for a few seconds before remembering the main question that I wanted to ask them. "How's Japan? I wish I could be there, it seems like sooo much fun!"
"Harley, I'm pretty sure you would love it here! It's so amazing, and there's so many cool places to go." Michael explained before Calum started telling me about all of the places they were going to explore before the show.
"That sounds amazing, maybe next time you go I can come with!" I giggled excitedly before looking over at the time and seeing that I had to get ready for dance. "I've gotta go, I'll call you guys again tomorrow after school! Love you!" I said, hearing them say they loved me too before hanging up. That totally just made my day 100% better.
A/N: There's a secret message in this chapter, I wonder who can figure it out first!!!
