"Romeo, save me I've been feeling so alone..."
Why's this song so beautiful? I can't even.
I looked outside the window. A flock of birds flew in the sky. The branches of the mahogany tree in front of the school building danced and the leaves flew as the wind blew. The gentle breeze touched my cheeks.
Ah... I love Spring.
I was enjoying my music when someone removed my headphones. Shouting voices and murmurs filled my ears as soon as my headphones were removed. I always hated that sound. The giggling sound from girls about their knights in their shining armor? I'd rather lock myself in a room where there's only -9.4 decibels. Seriously.
My expression changed. I didn't turn around to know who it was.
I already know that shit.
"Yo, lover boy! Listening to audio porn again?"
I knew it.
Sandy.
"What do you want?" I turned around this time. Three pairs of eyes were looking at me. I let out a big sigh.
"Vincent is such a cutie."
That high-pitched voice, dark-haired, blue-eyed, fair-skinned boy, and always has an annoying cheerful look on his face. Juliene. You have to keep your mouth shut or else he'll talk to you endlessly about anything that interests you both.
"You did the wrong move, Sandy. Don't make him angry."
The complete opposite of Juliene. He's more like me. A serious-looking blonde with dark emerald eyes. Kris. A quiet one, but when he speaks, you'll just drop your jaw because believe me, his logic is deeper than Marianas Trench.
And then...
"Nah... We're buddies. Right, darling?"
The most good-looking guy in my class. Sandy. A redhead with brown eyes. He's a cheerful one. Unlike Juliene, he's more laid back and most of all, more annoying. He's talkative, hyperactive, cool. He contains almost all of the positive traits one can ever say.
Good-looking guy my ass.
He's a pervert. Goodness.
I rolled my eyes. "Yes, yes."
Then there's me. I'm not bragging, but when it comes to looks, I'm a man who can stand beside Sandy. I'm tall. A black-haired and black-eyed perfectionist. Like I said, I'm like Kris. I'm kinda introvert though. I'm awkward with people except for Juliene, Kris, and Sandy. I'm always the one who's quiet. People just notice me because I'm tall. If not, then I'm just a nobody.
"Give my headphones back." I said, reaching my hand to him.
"Say please!!!" He made a weird face.
"You know I'm not gonna do that."
"Then I won't give it to you."
"Goddammit Sandy!"
"Come and get me!" He stood up and ran around the room with my headphones in his hand. "Come to me, baby!"
"Bastard." I cursed in my breath and stood up.
"Oho! Vincent playing with Sandy? This is fun!" Juliene said as he clasped his hands. "Let's join them, Kris!"
"Nah. I'm good." Kris said and watched us running around the room.
The girls giggled and teased me as I chased Sandy. The guys did the same.
Just bear with it. Just bear with it. Just bear with it.
Sandy faced me. His lips carved into his famous watery smile. It made my nerves pop all at once.
Sandy was still facing me while running, making weird faces. Then, he accidentally stepped on a wet floor, making him slip. With my reflexes and long arms, I grabbed his arm to stop his momentum from falling down. He jerked towards me and our bodies touched. His head was on my chest (I'm taller than him), my right arm was on his waist and and my left leg was between his legs.
I could feel his crotch.
There was silence in the room. They're probably shocked about what happened.
"That was close, you idiot."
He looked up. I didn't expect what I saw.
His face was fucking red and his eyes were like a puppy's. An expression which I'd never seen before.
Thadump.
"I-I'm sorry." He stuttered.
Thadump thadump thadump.
I was shocked. Why's my heart beating so fast?
I let go of him and got my headphones from his hand.
"Don't do this again, you idiot." I said as I turned around. "It's not funny."
Get a hold of yourself, Vincent.
...
Class ended at 4. I got my bag, stood up, and walked outside of the classroom. Kris, Juliene, and Sandy followed me. I was putting my headphones on my ears when a hand stopped mine.
"Are you mad?"
Sandy.
Thadump.
I looked away. "No. Just irritated."
"I'm sorry."
His voice was like a girl when he apologized. I let out a big sigh. I patted his head.
"Just don't do it again."
He smiled. "Okay!"
"You two seem like lovers, you know? Haha." Juliene laughed.
"Yeah, we're lovers. Got a problem?" Sandy snapped.
"Funny." Kris said, expressionless.
I ignored them and put my headphones on.
Just like usual, this day's like a normal day for the four of us.
Except for that.
