I put my hands on my knees as I pant like mad in front of the coffee shop. My sweat trickles from my forehead as the summer heat gets into me. I wipe my mouth with the back of my palm and look up.

He's here.

He should definitely be here.

With gritted teeth, I open the sliding door. "Vincent! Come out this instant!"

A man with shaved head turns around. In his hands are a cup and a cloth. Surprise becomes visible in his face. "May I help you?"

My brows furrow. "Who are you?!"

"That should be my question, kid." He says, nonchalantly.

I look around. There's no one in the shop. I click my tongue in frustration. I close my eyes and breathe deeply as I count 1 to 10 before I finally lose it.

I open my eyes and look at him. I am about to speak until I realize this man is different. This man is not the "Hiro" I met the other day.

"Sir, may I ask where is Hiro?"

"Hiro?"

"Yes. The owner of this shop."

He put the cloth and the cup down. "Kid, there's no one working here other than me."

Huh?

"I'm the owner of this shop. My name is Alex Keen."

"T-Then..."

"Hmm?"

I clench my fist. "Do... Do you happen to know Vincent?"

"Who's he?"

I gulp. "He... He's a regular here."

There is a short pause.

"Kid, I'm sorry."

My heart stops beating.

"You got the wrong shop."

HOW CAN THAT BE?!

"B-But this shop is Four Seasons Cafè! I-I've been here before!"

"Well, I am always in here. I didn't take a leave, not even once."
