After a while of us goofing around, we finally settled down on the couch. I looked outside through the window and saw that it was raining and thundering and I can almost feel the slight breeze coming from the window. The thunder was loud, and I jumped at the sudden sound. It's incredible what the earth creates. Nathan pulled me in tighter to him noticing I jumped.

"Thunder buddies?", he asked reaching out his pinky finger for me to promise. I wrapped my pinky around his and held it tightly against my hold.

"Thunder buddies", I said and laughed a little. We shared looks after a while and he moved in to kiss me but all of a sudden the elevator door opened.

"NATHAN!", some man yelled he seemed to be holding out his arms as Nathan approached him smirking. The man looked to be 6'4 tall, had blonde hair and blue eyes. Looked just like Nathan.

"Big bro !", they pulled each other into an embrace before the man finally took notice of me.

"You didn't tell me you had a girl", he said walking over to me. I let out a small smile and nodded.

"April this is my brother Michael. Michael this is my girl April", Michael came over to me shaking my hand and smiled. I smiled back. He turned around to face Nathan and they started to have a conversation. Not acknowledging my presence, I walked away letting my shyness get the best of me.

"April where you going? Michael was just leaving", he said patting him on the back while he left through the elevator.

"I didn't want to ruin the brotherly love you guys have", I said sarcastically giggling a little.

"No way", he said laughing walking back to the couch. I followed behind him and plopped on the couch. He put his arm around my shoulders and pulled me in tightly. Him hugging me reminded me so much of my mom.

Flashback.............

"Where is the lost princess", my mother said in search of me. I was hiding behind her work desk and knew that sooner or later she would find me.

After minutes of silence, someone yanked me out of under the desk and I noticed it was my mom. She started tickling me making me laugh uncontrollably and she laughed too sending off wide smiles. She soon sat me down and hugged me very tightly.

"I love you so much", she said pushing my hair back and sending me a soft kiss on the forehead.

After a while of thinking of my mom a big lump awaited in my throat but I pushed it aside suddenly clearing my throat. Nathan noticed the emotion on my face and ask what was wrong.

"Nothing. It's just that I was thinking about my mother"

"What about her", he said confusingly as If not knowing the past events that happened. It came aware to me that I never told him so I started explaining.

"When I was six years old my mother was shot by my father and I was there to witness it. What made me think of her is when you hugged me tightly, she did that every time she told me she loved me", I said faintly sending off a small smile to Nathan.

"I'm sorry to hear that.", he said pulling me closer and kissed my forehead.

I am so happy that Kara was right about Nathan. She found me somebody who I can trust and love and be more open to, I never told anyone about what happened to my mother and to me it was even hard to say it . I'm really grateful for what I have now, and I've come to terms that this is what I really want, this is what I've been striving for. I've been looking for him, I've been looking for love. And I think I finally find it, and in no way in hell well I EVER let this go.
