Vincent POV

I was on my private jet on my way to New York, best known as the Big Apple. I honestly didn't know why the nickname was given, but it has a ring to it and I liked it. The lady brought me some trail mix and wine, I nodded at her and sent of a smile. The rest of the ride there I was only thinking about April and what she could possible be doing right now. I was gonna miss her and the city of Milwaukee.

April POV

"Kara like I honestly don't know whats wrong with that girl.", I said shaking my head and picking a pea off the plate and popping it in my mouth. I decided to make dinner at my place and invited Kara over for some girly time, as we like to call it. We were talking about Carlise and her over exaggerated acts towards Nathan.

"Honestly, April, I think you should just stay out of it.", Kara said suddenly cutting a peace of her meatloaf. I sent her a confused look and she giggled.

"I mean Nathan is a grown man and he can handle things himself.", she said suddenly reasoning.

"But still.... I just don't want the after math of him having those phases again that's all. I don't trust that girl not one bit.", I said shaking my head and cutting a piece of meatloaf and eating it.

"So how are you and Vincent?"

"Good. He went off to New York today and didn't even tell me. Anyway, how are you and Michael?", I said looking up at her.

"So Michael and I are going to Hawaii next week!! And I'm so excited!", she said almost jumping out of her chair. I laughed at her motions.

"That sounds really good. I hope you guys enjoy your time there. And don't go fooling around if you know what I mean.", I said pointing my fork at her in circles and smirking.

"Whatever April.", she said giggling and taking a sip of her wine. The rest of the time we were eating and talking about random things. I really did enjoy my time with Kara and I got sad when she had to leave.

"Well Kara I will see you later.", I said embracing her warm body into a hug.

"For sure April.", and then she got in her car and drove off. I walked back into the house and watched Netflix until my eyes got heavy.

Nathan POV

I was in an office meeting when Carlise kept on calling me. I was getting frustrated, and excused myself from the meeting knowing I will regret it later. Walking out, I closed the door behind me and headed to my office to answer the phone.

"Carlise what do you want? I'm in a very important business meeting right now."

"Well can you please hurry back I'm bored and need company.", she said pouting over the phone. None of it sounded sexy and or intimidating to where I actually go and leave my meeting just to see her.

"I told you I have an important business meeting. I'll call you later.", and with that I hung up the phone. I didn't have time for foolish acts, and stupid whining over nothing. I just even waisted my time listening to her excuses.

I walked back into the meeting and proceeded to give orders and procedures. We were planing on expanding the business to different areas of the high demand cities. Some of the board walkers weren't listening knowing that I'm the CEO and I know what's right for the business. I've been working here for years and not one person said I did a bad job. I'm hoping to take over the business sooner or later.

Hours later, the meeting was over and I was on my way back to the condo. I walked to the kitchen to see Carlise eating pizza. I walked up to her and patted her shoulder, then walking to the refrigerator to grab a snack.
