Tessa stared into the blue eyes of the woman, searching for some sort of an answer. The woman wore black clothes from head to toe and she had startling red hair that reached her hips. Who was this woman? Tessa thought to herself in panic. She didn't seem to recognise the woman but she felt some sort of connection towards her.

The woman motioned Tessa to get out. Tessa got out reluctantly as she felt that the woman couldn't be a lot of danger towards her if she actually went against the Skylords. She was the only one besides Tessa to go against them.

Tessa climbed out of the window and jumped off the ledge gracefully. The woman didn't waste time. 'Come with me and I'll take you somewhere safe' she said. Tessa stopped and threw her arms up in protest. 'Wait, at least tell me where you're taking me.' She did feel a connection with the woman but she wasn't exactly going to trust her enough to follow her, without an explanation anyway.

'I told you, someplace safe.' she said impatiently. 'Look, I was watching you at the meeting and you won't be safe here after what you did. You're not alone in this battle anymore. I can help you. We can help you.' Tessa was taken aback. 'you mean there's more people trying to stop the Skylords rule too?' The woman just nodded.

'But wait I can't just leave my mom, and my dad and friend were taken. I have to help them' Tessa protested. The woman looked at her sadly. 'Look I'm sorry but we will do our best to save everyone who was taken, but not right now. Your mom won't agree to join us because of the spell put upon her.' 'The spell?' Tessa asked. The woman waved her hand dismissively, 'look we don't have time to discuss this right now. Anyway you mom will be safer here without you' she said matter of factly.

Deep down Tessa agreed with the woman and as she glanced back at her house she knew it was the best choice, besides it wasn't the last time she was going to see her. 'Okay lets go' she said trying to sound confident.

The woman started to walk away and Tessa followed. 'By the way my name is Katrina' she announced. 'My name is T.....' 'Your name is Tessa Jones. I know. I have been keeping an eye on you. People like you have to be kept safe' she said smiling which was a bit unsettling. Tessa still didn't know whether to trust her or not and the fact that the woman had been watching her and knew her name was definitely a bit unsettling. But for some reason Tessa knew it was for a good reason.

They walked in silence for the rest of the way, even though Tessa had a lot of questions for her, she was too scared to hear the answer.

Katrina stopped and announced 'we're here.' Tessa looked up and in front of her was a small building. She had seen the building before, but had taken no notice of it. There was nothing different about it, it was completely identical to the buildings on either side of it. Katrina opened the front door and walked in, with Tessa right behind. Katrina walked past the hallway and stopped at a black door. She put her hand close to the door, pointed her finger at it and a red spark flew off the door which caused the door to swing open. 'How did you do that?' asked Tessa but what she really meant was could she do something like that herself. The woman answered 'you'll see soon enough.' This sort of reply was really annoying Tessa but she decided to keep her mouth shut and to be patient, as she knew the other strategy wouldn't work.

Katrina stepped inside and motioned Tessa to come in before she shut the door behind her.
