Chapter Twelve – The Ending.

Hello, last actual chapter. . . Hope y'all liked it. Will be editing this soon(I have not looked over this yet so mind the typos.)  Also songs "Safe and Sound" by Taylor Swift Ft The Civil Wars and "Rules" by Jayme Dee.

The black haze had engulf Scarlet, laying on the bed, hands frantically worked around her body. She was numb to the tough and could only sense it as fire took her over like she had been thrown in to a fire pit and set to flames. First her wrist, it traveled up her legs to her thighs, she tried to scream out but her throat was closed up, and nothing would come out. The fire had made its way to her throat and threatened to come up past her lips to her eyes. The balls of them felt like the too were pm fire. The worst feeling she had ever felt, useless to everything. Unable to move, unable to see in the darkness, and unable to speak. She was dying.

The fire was worse in one area, her wrist. Pin pricked areas on her thigh and forearm would spike up and burn her in her veins. Finally the pain was enough and faded to background noise and just warmth as everything settled.

A light, dull and clear formed in the middle of her vision. Slowly getting bigger she could blurry see colors, leafy green, sky blue. . . And shapes. Human shapes.

She thought maybe she was awakening, awakening as a beast but her last memories were inside the house. . . With Seth. The vision in front of her was a happy pairing of a young girl and boy in a yard.

The girl looked about eighteen, it was odd. Scarlet felt like she was looking at her older self. She was a spitting image of Scarlet, like looking through a mirror. Everything down from her gray eyes, and red tinted brown hair. She was taller, less muscled and more like a dancer if anything. She looked like a normal every day girl, one that didn't train everyday to survive.

Expecting the boy to be a red head, for this to be the future she could have. . . It was a shocker that the boy was actually blond, tall, and bigger and older than the girl.

Someone spoke out in the distance in to the trees on the edge of the yard, it made the guy turn around, searching for the speaking. That was when Scarlet was able to put a name to him, Cale.

“Ebony!” The voice yelled. She knew the voice anywhere, tired, kind of deep, with a sense of humor. Lex showed his face, a smile wide. Savannah was hanging on his left arm, her head on his shoulder with a bright smile on her face as well.

Scarlet watched her guardians, the wolf who helped her, and her mother smile like there wasn't anything bad, and laugh like they were truly happy. She was sure this was heaven. A strange and twisted world of her dead loved ones. . . And she was arriving.

Seth sobbed. Scarlet's body vibrated, her entire body shaking head to toe. She was losing blood, her wrist bloody and tore apart in the wrapped cloth. Seth could only see the whites of her eyes as they were rolled in the back of her head, stuck there. Her blood coated the old, baggy clothes he had found in the house.

He opened another veil and stuck the needle deep in to her arm, small bloody pinpricks dotted all over both her arms and legs as the silver was released in to her blood stream.

He doesn't know how many times he's stabbed the needle in to her in a panic, her body was naturally rejecting the bite, killing her. The silver could only help so much, and he was running empty.

His vision was blurry and unclear, tears rolling down his face, sadness, lost, and self hate stirred inside him as he injected the last bit of silver he had. . . Once finish he threw the syringe down on the floor. Looking at her helplessly. Her body still shook, her eyes still rolled back, nothing had changed sense he had bit her.
