The eyes hide the truth, for better or worse
They give away our secrets, some would call it a curse
Your face might say happy, but your eyes might say pain
Your smile might say I'm fine, but it's in your eyes the truth remains
There might be love, joy, and happiness

They're so unique, with the stories they hold
The eyes hold the emotions, and secrets inside
But when someone's overwhelmed, that's when it runs out their eyes
The eyes are special, from them you could learn a lot
Whether you want to, or not
